Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the nutrition status of infants aged between 0～18 months in rural area and analyze the influential factors. 【Methods】 The on-the-spot investigation was carried out in rural areas in Shaanxi province.336 infants aged between 0～18 months and their families were sampled randomly.Materials were collected by questionnaires and the data of physical development that included height and weight were measured.Z-scores were adopted to evaluate nutrition status of infants.Logistic regression analysis was used to get the influential factors of infants' malnutrition. 【Results】 The prevalence rate of stunting was the highest(10.9%).The prevalence rate of underweight and wasting was 6.6% and 1.2% respectively.Z-score of height/length-for-age and weight-for-age between-2 and-1 was 27.6%,25.2%,respectively.Compared infants older than 12 months with infants younger than 4～6 months,OR score of underweight and stunting was 6.505,6.268,respectively(P0.001).The prevalence rate of stunting in male was higher than that in female significantly(P0.01).The influential factors of infants' underweight included: age of infants and average income of family per month.The influential factors of infants' stunting included: age of infant,gender of infant,years of mother's education,average income of family per month. 【Conclusions】 In rural areas of Shaanxi province,malnutrition of infants whose age are between 0～18 months existed mainly as long-term and chronic malnutrition.Older than 12 months is the high morbidity period.The nutrition status of whole local infants is impacted by multi-factors.
