Abstract:Dingiana nigrifacialis gen. et sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Southern China. According to the characters of post-tibal spur, this genus should be placed into the tribe Delphacini. The type specimen is deposited in the Entomological Museum, Northwest A F University, Yangling, Shaanxi (NWAFU).

Abstract:Two new genera, Ramidelphax and Consociata, from southern China, are proposed within Delphacidae, based on the new species Ramidelphax albistriata n. sp. ( from Hainan and Guizhou Provinces, China) and Consociata sinensis n. sp. ( from Hainan Province, China). Because of the presence of the post-tibal spur, the new genera should be placed in the tribe Delphacini.

Abstract:Two new genera of Tropidocephalini (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea: Delphacidae: Delphacinae) are described from Hainan Province, China. They are Yuanchia Chen and Tsai gen. nov. and Neocarinodelphax Chen and Tsai gen. nov. One new species, Yuanchia maculata Chen and Tsai sp. nov. (China: Hainan: Diaoluoshan) and I new combination, Neocarinodelphax hainanensis (Qin and Zhang 2005) comb. nov. Abstract:A new genus and species, Laminatopina orientahs, gen. et sp. n. from China is described and illustrated, and assigned to the tribe Delphacini within the subfamily Delphacinae (Delphacidae). The new genus resembles Neonzetopina Yang, 1989, but can best be distinguished from the latter by features of the male genitalia.

Abstract:A new species of the planthopper genus Longtania Ding (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Delphacidae), L. arcuata n. sp. (central southern China: Hubei) is described and illustrated. A revised diagnosis of Longtania and a key to known species is provided. The genus is tentatively placed in the subtribe Delphacina. The genus Platytibia is reviewed and is assigned to the subtribe Numatina sensu Emeljanov. The male genitalia of the type species, P. ferruginea Ding is redescribed and illustrated.

Abstract:The Chinese endemic delphacid genus Malaxella Ding & Hu (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Delphacidae) is reviewed in this paper. Three species are treated of which M. flava Ding & Hu and M. tetracantha Qin & Zhang are redescribed, one new species, M. macracantha Ren & Qin sp. nov., is described. Habitus photos and illustrations of male genitalia of these 3 species are given. A key for identifying the species of Malaxella is also provided.

Abstract:Paralivatiella gen. nov., is described from China with P. serrata sp. nov. as the type species. It is placed in the delphacid tribe Eodelphacini of the subfamily Ugyopinae. Prolivatis gorochovi Emeljanov is recorded for the first time from China. The latter species is redescribed and illustrated. A checklist of Eodelphacini of the world and a key to all genera of this tribe is also provided.

Abstract:The delphacid planthoppers genus Aoyuanus Ding & Chen, 2001 is reviewed. Two new species, A.spathulussp. n. and A.variussp. n., are described and illustrated from China to give the genus three species in total, and the generic characteristics are redefined. A short description and illustrations are also given for A.furcatus. A key to all known species of Aoyuanus based on male genitalia is provided.

The genus consists of 6 species: N. asymmetrica Ding & Yang, 1986 (Yunnan: Jinghong), N. zhejiangensis (Zhu, 1988) (Zhejiang: Hangzhou, Anhui: Langyashan), N. hanyinensis Qin & Yuan, 1998 (Shaanxi: Hanyin), N. lanpingensis Chen, 2003 (Yunnan: Lanping), N. laterospina Chen & Liang, 2005 (Hunan: Zhangjiajie) and N. lii Hou & Chen, sp. nov. (Guangdong: Guangzhou, Zhuhai; Hainan: Diaoluoshan). The generic characteristics are redefined. The main morphological characters, male genitalia of 6 species and female genitalia of 3 species are described or redescribed and illustrated (excluding N. asymmetrica, N. zhejiangensis, and N. hanyinensis). A key to species in the genus is provided.
