Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship between A118G polymorphism of OPRM1 gene and substance dependence. Methods Thirteen papers of association study on A118G polymorphism of OPRM1 gene and substance dependence(including alcohol and heroin dependence) were searched from PubMed,CNKI,EMBASE and EBSCO databases.Meta-analysis was used to analyse all the data. Results There was no significant association between A118G polymorphism and substance dependence(P0.05).But according to the different types of substance,the Meta-analysis results showed that G allele frequence had significant association with alcohol dependence((P0.05).) Conclusion G allele of A118G polymorphism in OPRM1 gene may be a risk factor of alcohol(dependence.) OPRM1 gene can not interpret the whole genetic mechanism.In the further genetic study,other opioid receptor gene polymorphism and their interaction should be paid more attention.
