Abstract:At this stage in the process of demand response implementation, there are many problems in China, especially lacking experience in operation mode and incentive mechanism.Analyse and summarize developed countries ’ experience in promoting demand response, and compare the typical market modes. Concentrate on representative coutries and summarize incentive policies for both electric power companies and power consumers. Then clear responsibility of the participants, coordinate interests of all parties and guide our country ’ s demand response implementation. As a result, it will be a firm foundation for more abundant demand response projects in more open market enviroment.
