Abstract:The title compound, C(7)H(8)N(2)O(2), is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation for non-H atoms = 0.029 angstrom). In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds generate an R(2)(2)(8) ring motif.
