Application of Engineering Bacteria Bacta-Pur(R) in Treatment of Municipal Wastewater

Abstract:The treatment effect of municipal wastewater by engineering bacteria Bacta-Pur XLG was investigated using SBR reactor.The results show that after dosing Bacta-Pur XLG into the reactor,the removal rates of COD and TP reach 94.51% and 79.43% respectively,but NH3-N removal rate remains relatively low.The COD and TP in the treated effluent can reach theⅠ-B criteria specified in Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant(GB 18918-2002).
