Abstract:In the new era of China, the prevalence and the incidence of infectious diseases have undergone tremendous changes, reflecting in the significantly decreased overal incidence of infectious disease, reduced classic infectious diseases, emergence of newly infectious diseases, and "resurgence" of some infectious diseases which have been control ed previously. The current status of infectious diseases teaching is that teaching contents and methods failed to adapt with the real situation and deviated from the actual needs, resulting in a waste of educational resources and poor teaching efficiency and effect. In this situation, we have reformed the traditional teaching philosophy, teaching content and teaching methods, achieving wonderful teaching results.
