A Contempory Scholar with Most Qualities of Poem--on The"old Style"poetry of Mr.Wu Mi

Abstract:It was undoubted Mr.Wu Mi provided with the most qualities of a poem amongst the contemporary scholars of China in the 20~thcentury,one point should be out that this kind of poem quality's formation was accompanied with the enlightenment and growth of Chinese nation's emotion,say from some ways,this emotion is presented by the awakening of individual awareness and the establishment of the notion on contemporary marriage.Based on the two points,the representative,undoubted,was Mr.Wu Mi that ardently loved writing poetry as well as experenced frustrate life. On the viewpoint,which the basic nature of poetry to a scholar should be closely related to his profession .So the modern western science influenced the scholars significanlty then,especially to Mr.Wu Mi,even though he called himself aconservatism in the aspect of culture,the quality reflected on his academic has more characteristics of westernization and modernization and,this kind of individual life which full of the modernization is still an unsolved problem to its home to return to.
