Abstract:Harmonious culture advocates and pursues harmony, and integrates ideology, modes of thinking, criteria of conducts and social customs. It reflects not only the public overall understanding of a harmonious society, but also the basic concepts and pursuit of such society. The cognition of harmony from current Chinese philosophical perspective has experienced a process of re-understanding and re-positioning. It starts from the concepts of"Dichotomy"and"Oneness from two"to the discussion of he ("harmony") and dou ("fight"), contradiction theory and harmony theory.
