Abstract:Digital creative industry is the collective name for the creative content industry and creative manufacturing industry that make effective use of digital technology; it takes science and technology, culture and art as input, and economic value and cultural influence as output. The digital creative industry is identified as one of the national strategic emerging industries for the first time during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, and has played an important role in advancing China’s industrial transformation and upgrading and in prospering the digital economy. This paper aims to study the innovation and development direction of the digital creative industry at a macro level, summarizes the development experiences in China, and discusses the future development of the industry. Through a comparative analysis of the concepts and implications of the digital creative industry in China and abroad, the development characteristics, status, and problems of the digital creative industry in China are systematically sorted out, and the overall development ideas of the industry in China are formed accordingly. Furthermore, four major directions is proposed for the continuous innovation and development of China’s digital creative industry, namely, digital cultural creative technology and equipment innovation, digital cultural content innovation, innovative design, and integrated innovation. Moreover, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward on the development and expansion of the digital creative industry, in terms of scientific and technological research, innovation institutions, platform enterprises, talent training, supervision services, and industrial clusters.

Abstract:Purpose - This paper discusses the transformation of Harbin Radio and Television Station in the era of deep media integration, points out the problems faced by Harbin Radio and Television Station in the context of deep media integration and puts forward countermeasure suggestions, responds to the call for media reform, and makes the crisis into a turning point. Design/Methodology/Approach - With the continuous downward trend of the social economy, the social economy has been greatly impacted, and the traditional TV media has also been significantly affected.This paper combines the actual situation of Harbin TV station, and actively explores a traditional media platform modeling transformation road, to accelerate the pace of Harbin broadcasting station media depth integration. Findings - Summarizes the trend of the transformation of the integrated media platform, and on this basis summarizes the problems of the transformation of the Harbin broadcasting station platform as the lack of market analysis in decision-making, the serious homogenization of content style and the lack of human resource reserves. It also presents three countermeasure suggestions: enhancing policy orientation and market analysis, strengthening top-level design, developing specialized content, internally fostering operational talents, and internally cultivating operation talents and building self-control team. Research Implications - This paper takes Harbin Radio and Television Station as an example, summarizes the problems of traditional media platform transformation in terms of market, content, and talent, and puts forward several thoughts on promoting the deep integration of media, which provides reference and reference for the transformation of Harbin TV station’s integrated media.

Abstract:With the rapid development of social media, people can access a large amount of data in a short period of time, and big data technology has emerged. With the vigorous development of cloud computing and big data, the method of mining audience interests through a large amount of data to guide film and television creation has attracted more and more attention from experts and scholars. In order to understand the current situation of film and television drama creation in China and provide suggestions for the shortcomings in the industry, this article mainly analyzes the application of intelligent algorithms for traffic prediction models and big data analysis in film and television creation. This intelligent algorithm can predict the potential audience of movies or TV dramas, helping producers and investors make decisions. This system utilizes artificial intelligence technology to select suitable actors for characters based on their matching degree and past work performance. This article applies intelligent algorithms to big data processing to improve the accuracy of data processing. This article explores the application of intelligent algorithms and big data analysis in film and television creation. Using machine learning algorithms to predict the potential audience of a movie or TV series based on historical data, providing decision-making basis for investors and producers. This system utilizes AI technology to select suitable actors for characters based on their matching degree with characters and past work performance, improving the scientific and accurate selection of roles. The application of these technologies helps to improve production efficiency and quality, reduce costs and risks, and inject new impetus into the sustainable development of the film and television industry.

Abstract:Following the past thirty years of economic development in China, a substantial amount of research on rural migrants and urbanization has emerged. However, few address traditional art forms and their related socio-economic transformation. This paper scrutinizes how errenzhuan, a Northeast folk peasant sing-song art form, developed to become a national entertainment industry within a decade, only to crumble under a change of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) political direction. It argues that the trajectory path of errenzhuan reveals distinctive features of the Chinese cultural industry, which is developed under the dual pressures of economic success and CCP ideologically directed market monopoly. The party-state's ability to regulate the market, despite the industry's nationwide popularity and economic substance, exemplifies the power of the Chinese party state "central bank," which monopolizes the art market for the continued articulation and legitimacy of the CCP. Such phenomenon is identified in this paper as "cultural industries with Chinese characteristics."

Abstract:This paper selects the core contents of the upcoming book Market Layout and Investment Observation of Digital Content Industry in China (2017–2018), which is a continuation of the Market Layout and Investment Observation of Digital Content Industry in China (2015) with updates in contents and methodology. Keeping an eye on the latest developments of the digital content industry, we specifically studied 12 hot segments that are widely concerned and recognized in the market, including online gaming, online education, animation, online video, live streaming, We Media, news APP, online literature, online music, short video, paid knowledge and online periodicals. We made structured and systematic assortment and analysis of the developing status, competition layout, investment and financing heat and relevant policies of these segments, and summarized the ten major trends of Chinese digital content industry. We also built an investment evaluation system to objectively evaluate the investment value and the advantages and disadvantages of each segment, with investment advice and directions. As far as the general trend is concerned, the digital content industry has kept expanding in scale, competition concentrates among the industrial leaders that carry out crossover integration, investment is more rational and contents more social and vertical, IP is the hotspot, and regulation is tightened. Besides, the segments display different developing situations. For example, short video will remain under the spotlight, but the surge of paid knowledge has subsided to reveal the pain spots, online gaming will develop in a more standard way with tighter control, and the application of 5G and VR/AR technologies in vertical contents has blazed new space for tapping the existing market. Popular directions of investment include R&D of original contents, content community or socializing, IP incubation and operation, and vertical segments.

Abstract:The article presents the results of describing the general state of China’s creative industries. The paper describes the main types of economic activities included in the list of cultural industries of China as objects of multi-level administration, reveals the prospects for the development of certain types of economic activities, especially important for the development of culture and the creative economy of the country.The content of the article and the results of the study are of practical importance. The exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of creative industries development between our countries can significantly enrich existing Russian domestic practices and ultimately lead to a synergistic effect. We prove that the development of China’s creative sector s considered as a continuation of China’s global implementation of the national strategy “One Belt, One Road”, as a tool for implementing the policy of “soft power” and this experience is the weakest force that is needed in connection with modern world events.The problem of the prospects for the development of China’s creative industries in the global market is revealed. Creative industries on digital platforms face the need to enter new markets in the global creative services industry. Traditional state-subsidized cultural heritage has shown its weak competitiveness compared to digital content. Digital culture is commercialized, customer-centric and focuses on the needs of individuals and specific communities, it has had a strong positive impact on the image and economy of modern China.The Chinese government’s action plan for the implementation of the Internet Plus program aims to integrate mobile Internet, cloud computing, big data and Internet of Sales with industrial sectors to promote economic restructuring, improve service for people’s lives, including government functions. This plan is at an early stage of fine-tuning integration to the principles of the ecosystem, as a set of open and customizable platforms. The developers of the program are refining the functions to the possibility of application not only in production, but also in finance, trade, transport, healthcare and education.

Abstract:The continuous upgrading of new media technology has propelled traditional media in China towards an innovative development path. Against the backdrop of the steady growth of new media, a large number of new cultural variety shows have emerged to adapt to the changing times. "ReadersSeason Three" is an outstanding representative of new cultural variety shows in the era of new media. The program adopts the format of "interview + reading" and introduces a special segment called "One Square Meter" on new media platforms. While the program has gained widespread attention, its excessive emphasis on entertainment has led to a lack of cultural depth. Insufficient innovation in the program's format has resulted in a serious problem of homogenization, and the failure to fully leverage the advantages of new media platforms during the broadcast process has constrained the program's dissemination effectiveness. It is evident that cultural variety shows in China still face issues such as a lack of cultural depth and outdated program formats. Therefore, based on the shortcomings of cultural variety shows in China, this paper proposes strategies to enhance the cultural depth of such programs, innovate program formats, and make optimal use of new media for dissemination, presenting prospects for the innovative development of cultural variety shows in China.

Abstract:This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of this emerging cultural and creative industry by studying the development of China's cultural IP industry, to make recommendations for the development of China's cultural IP industry in the future. At present, the hot concept of IP operation emphasizes the mining, incubation, and sustainable creation of IP value. IP has gradually become the core of the pan-entertainment ecosystem. IP attracts the first fans through high-quality original content, and extends to other areas through recreation, achieving exponential growth in the number of fans and horizontal expansion of the fan base. In this process, the influence of original IP diverges, promotes the interaction and integration between different industries, constitutes a good industrial ecology, and releases and monetizes the value of IP. The article analyzes the development of China's IP industry in detail in the past two years, through the redefinition, policy combing, analysis of industrial structure, development trends, and cross-industry integration. At the same time, this article also discusses the advantages of China's IP industry development, current problems, and solutions, which found the direction suitable for the future development of China's cultural IP industry.

Abstract:Creative industry has become a new economic growth point and the important aspect of the competition of comprehensive national strength. Creativity diffusion is a key factor to accelerate the development of creative industry, bring economical effects and promote the prosperity of city. Firstly, this paper defines the concept of creativity diffusion based on the existing diffusion theories. Then, this paper puts forward the creativity diffusion system, detailed studies the components of the creative diffusion system from three aspects, establishes the differential dynamic model to describe the creativity diffusion. Lastly, some suggestions to promote the creativity spread rapidly and broadly are proposed. The research enriches the creativity diffusion theory, and plays a major role in promoting the development of creative industry in China.

Abstract:Through the actions and interactions of video platform users, talent shows have expanded from the entertainment sphere to the social sphere and become an everyday part of life. Watching talent shows on online platforms, especially through participation in multi-platform interaction, is an ever developing and innovative field in many regions. This study adopts a multiple case analysis approach. We analyze and compare three cases of talent shows, examining aspects of their value co-creation, digital platform, dynamic capability and value network through an exploration of a series of creative activities on digital video platforms. Talent shows provide a unique environment in which different actors interact, co-exist and co-create value, i.e., another form of O2O marketing. These actors include producers, entertainment companies, sponsors and fans, and fan value co-creation currently takes many different forms, which are experienced, engaged and interacted with through different platforms. The findings contribute to examining the underlying dynamics of TV talent shows, in addition to explaining how they are achieving sustainable advantages in the media market. Furthermore, this study aims to understand the service ecosystem of network talent shows from the perspective of industrial innovation strategy; consequently, this research can help to promote the implications of this new form of digital content services and its innovation strategies.

Abstract:Entertainment and Media industry has enriched human life and is indispensable in contemporary society, in which variety shows play an essential role. In terms of contents and types of variety shows, people are constantly exploring and innovating, creating entertaining programs dealing with topical references. Based on the status quo of Chinese variety-show market, this paper provides insight into successful cases of incorporating Chinese unique characteristics into prevailing shows via innovative modes, in pursuit of both commercial and social values. Mixed research methods, including comparative case study, Semi-structured interview and analysis of existing statistics, are employed to explore this topic. We have four interviewees from distinct fields, which helps us to conduct more comprehensive analysis on the innovation modes applied in both cases--- Sisters Who Make Waves and China Poetry Congress, in view of Schumpeter’s classical definition of innovation. We find that new reassembling of traditional components gives the variety shows a cutting edge, reflected in the application of new technology or the destruction of conventional modes. In fact, the essence of both cultural innovation and mode innovation relies on creative assimilation of original elements. Generally, Chinese variety shows are supposed to enhance the production quality and impacts of platforms through content innovation, mode diversification and giving full play to celebrity benefits.

Abstract:In early 2021, the program "China in Classics" was launched and attracted widespread attention from both the television and online platforms. The program "China in Classics" has taken the lead from similar programs with a new theme content, exploring a new model of cultural programs. It combines cultural elements, theatrical elements, and variety show elements centered around classics, and with its ritualistic symbolic expression, dramatic plot, and expert interviews, forms its own unique program style. The success of this program provides new ideas for the creation of cultural programs of the same type. This article selects the TV program "China in Classics" as the research object, analyzes the dissemination strategies and current situation of TV cultural programs in the era of all media, and proposes reasonable suggestions and measures for the innovative development of TV cultural programs in the future.

Abstract:Abstract Since the turn of the century, creative industries have displayed considerable power in transforming the social and economic landscapes of most global metropolises, including such Chinese mega-cities as Beijing and Shanghai. However, the story of creative industries does not end there. Recent studies have focused on the role of creative sector in the countryside. It has been argued that the creative sector can effectively contribute to diversifying socio-economic development in rural areas by increasing employment, enhancing the quality of life, and promoting social inclusion and community development. With the aim to chart new paths for China’s rural revitalisation and address the country’s ‘three rural issues’ (i.e. agriculture, rural areas and farmers), this paper examines the potentials and challenges to developing the creative sector in rural China. It first reviews the academic debate about expanding the development of creative industries from urban to rural areas. Drawing on the research and classification of creative industries in rural Western Ireland, this study identifies industries characterised by ‘content creation and production’ and ‘creative design services’, which would have potential in rural China. The major impediments to and crucial factors for developing rural creative industries in China are investigated and appraised within the framework of ‘creative people, creative place, and creative support’. After analysing emerging practices in Jiangsu Province, this paper highlights the potential of abandoned industrial complexes in rural parts of China’s coastal regions, which can act as incubators for creative industries. Those former manufacturing plants are the remains of township-village enterprises (TVEs), which constituted part of China’s flagship policy for rural regeneration in the 1980s. Not only do they have special architectural attributes favourable for creative production, but also represent the socio-economic entity of the village collective and are the carriers of cultural meanings and memories. This paper concludes with a set of recommendations for both public and private sectors. It calls for a more proactive stance from governments to promote the creative sector in rural areas and revitalise rural economies and communities through the reuse or regeneration of former TVEs.
