Abstract:The growth of solutions of linear differential equations f(k)+Ak-1(z)f(k-1)+…+A1(z)f′+A0(z)f=H(z) is studied,where Aj(j=0,1,…,k-1) and H(z) are entire functions of finite order,one of Aj satisfies some condition on the maximum modulus.

Abstract:In this paper,we investigate the growth of solutions of f(k)+ak-1f(k-1)+...+a1f ′-(eQ(z)-a0)f=1 (k≥1) with 1-aj(j=0,1,...,k-1) constants and Q a non-constant polynomial.It is proved that every solution f of the above equation is of order 1 and hyper order a positive interger no greater than degQ.As an application,we obtain a result on the uniqueness of meromorphic functions.

Abstract:In this paper,we study the growth of solution for a certain higher order differential equation: f (k) +(Q 1(z)e P 1(z) +Q 2(z)e P 2(z) )f=P 3(z), where P 1(z)=ζ 1z n+…,P 2(z)=ζ 2z n+…,P 3(z)0 are non constant polynomials,and Q 1(z),Q 2(z) are entire functions which have order less then n.We obtain the precise result that any non trivial solution of the equation satisfies λ(f)=σ(f)=λ(f)=∞ when ζ 2/ζ 1 is not 1.

Abstract:Consider the linear differential equation $$ f^{(n)}+A_{n-1}f^{(n-1)}+\cdots+A_{0}f=0 $$ where the coefficients $A_j,j=0,\ldots,n-1,$ are exponential polynomials. It is known that every solution is entire. This paper will show that all transcendental solutions of finite growth order are of completely regular growth. This problem was raised in Heittokangas et al.[8, p.33], which involves an extensive question about Gol'dberg-Ostrovskiǐ's Problem [5, p.300]. Moreover, we define functions in a generalized class concluding exponential polynomial functions, which are also of completely regular growth.

Abstract:We investigate transcendental entire solutions of complex differential equations f″+A(z)f=H(z), where the entire function A(z) has a growth property similar to the exponential functions, and H(z) is an entire function of order less than that of A(z). We first prove that the lower order of the entire solution to the equation is infinity. By using our result on the lower order, we prove the entire solution does not bear any Baker wandering domains.

Abstract:In this paper, the growth of the meromorphic solutions of the equation f” = L(z,f)(f')^2 + M(z,f)f' + N(z,f) where L, M, N are birational functions, is studied. We prove that if L(z, f) satisfies a quite general condition, then f must be of finite order. Furthermore, if (L(z, f)≡0, and M(z, f), N(z, f) are polynomials in f, then the order of any entire solution of the equation is a positive integral multiple of 1/2.

Abstract:We study higher order linear differential equation $y^{(k)}+A_1(z)y=0$ with $k\geq2$, where $A_1=A+h$, $A$ is a transcendental entire function of finite order with $\frac{1}{2}\leq \mu(A)<1$ and $h\neq0$ is an entire function with $\rho(h)<\mu(A)$. Then it is shown that, if $f^{(k)}+A(z)f=0$ has a solution $f$ with $\lambda(f)<\mu(A)$ then exponent of convergence of zeros of any non trivial solutions of $y^{(k)}+A_1(z)y=0$ is infinite.

Under the conditions that there exists a coefficient which dominates the other coefficients by its lower $% (\alpha ,\beta ,\gamma )$-order and lower $(\alpha ,\beta ,\gamma )$-type, we obtain some growth and oscillation properties of solutions of such equations which improve and extend some recently results of the author and Biswas \cite{b8}.

Abstract:The existence of sufficiently many finite order meromorphic solutions of a differential equation, or difference equation, or differential-difference equation, appears to be a good indicator of integrability. In this paper, we investigate the nonlinear differential-difference equations of form \begin{equation*} f(z)^{n}+L(z,f)=q(z)e^{p(z)},\eqno(*) \end{equation*} where $n\geq 2, L(z,f)(\not\equiv 0)$ is a linear differential-difference polynomial in $f(z)$, with small functions as its coefficients, $p(z)$ and $q(z)$ are non-vanishing polynomials. We first obtain that $n=2$ and $f(z)$ satisfies $\overline{\lambda}(f)=\sigma(f)=°p(z)$ under the assumption that the equation (*) possesses a transcendental entire solution of hyper order $\sigma_{2}(f)<1$. Furthermore, we give the exact form of the solutions of equation (*) when $p(z)=a, q(z)=b$, $\eta$ are constants and $L(z,f)=g(z)f(z+\eta)+h(z)f^{'}(z)+u(z)f(z)+v(z)$ is a linear differential-difference polynomial in $f(z)$ with polynomial coefficients $g(z), h(z), u(z)$ and $v(z)$ such that $L(z,f)\not\equiv 0$ and $a b \eta\neq 0$.

We also give some examples to show that our results are sharp.

Abstract:The higher order Kirchhoff type equation $$\int_{\mathbb{R}^{2m}}(|\nabla^m u|^2 +\sum_{\gamma=0}^{m-1}a_{\gamma}(x)|\nabla^{\gamma}u|^2)dx \left((-\Delta)^m u+\sum_{\gamma=0}^{m-1}(-1)^\gamma \nabla^\gamma\cdot(a_\gamma (x)\nabla^\gamma u)\right) =\frac{f(x,u)}{|x|^\beta}+\epsilon h(x)\ \ \text{in}\ \ \mathbb{R}^{2m}$$ is considered in this paper. We assume that the nonlinearity of the equation has exponential critical growth and prove that, for a positive $\epsilon$ which is small enough, there are two distinct nontrivial solutions to the equation. When $\epsilon=0$, we also prove that the equation has a nontrivial mountain-pass type solution.
