Abstract:The globally uniformly asymptotic stability of uncertain neural networks with time delay has been discussed in this paper. Using the Razumikhin-type theory and matrix analysis method, A sufficient criterion about globally asymptotic stability of the neural networks is obtained.

Abstract:The paper deals with the globally asymptotically stability of dynamical neural networks with time-varying delays. The sufficient conditions for the globally asymptotically stable of the neural networks are obtained by Lyapunov-Razumikhin technique. Particularly, we discuss the stability conditions which do not require the activation functions to be differential, bounded, or monotone nondecreasing. Two examples are also applied to illustrate the efficiency of the results.

Abstract:By using the usual additive neural-network model, a delay-independent stability criterion for neural dynamics with perturbations of time-varying delays is derived. We extend previously known results obtained by Gopalsamy and He to the time varying delay case, and present decay estimates of solutions of neural networks. The asymptotic stability is global in the state space of neuronal activations. From the techniques used in this paper, it is shown that our criterion ensures stability of neural dynamics even when the delay functions vary violently with time. Our approach provides an effective method for the stability analysis of neural dynamics with delays.

Abstract:The problem of analysis of robust stability for time-delayed neural networks with nonlinear perturbation has been investigated via Lyapunov stability theory. The sufficient conditions for robust stability of neural networks with time delays have been developed. The exponential stability criterion for neural networks is also derived. The result includes the information on the state convergence degree of the neural networks. The robust stable criterion in this paper is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities.

Abstract:Global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of neural networks with time-varying delays is considered in this paper. By utilizing the Lyapunov--Razumikhin technique, some new sufficient conditions are given. The new criteria do not require the delay function to be differentiable and the activation functions to be bounded or monotone nondecreasing. The results presented here are less restrictive and conservative than those given in the earlier references. Two examples are discussed to compare the present results with the existing ones.

Abstract:In this paper, the problem of stability analysis is investigated for switched neural networks with time-varying delay using linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. By taking advantage of the average dwell time method, two sufficient conditions are developed to ensure the global exponential stability of the considered neural networks, which are delay-dependent and formulated by LMIs. The state decay estimate is explicitly given. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed techniques.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to stability analysis of a novel delayed neural network, whose neurons are connected with each other through both neurons' feedback connection strength matrix and direct connection strength matrix. Both delay-independent and delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained by integrating LMI approach and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method. By introducing some slack matrix variables, the criteria are less conservative. It is the most efficient for systems with time delay. The criteria are in form of LMI with more slack matrix variables, which may enlarge the range in selecting neural networks' parameters including the upper bound of delay for guaranteeing asymptotic stability of the system. Abstract:This paper investigates the problem of robust dissipativity analysis for uncertain neural networks with time-varying delay. The norm-bounded uncertainties enter into the neural networks in randomly ways, and such randomly occurring uncertainties (ROUs) obey certain mutually uncorrelated Bernoulli distributed white noise sequences. By employing the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, a sufficient condition is established to ensure the robust stochastic stability and dissipativity of the considered neural networks. Some special cases are also considered. Two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the validness and the less conservatism of the obtained results.

Abstract:The robust exponential stability of uncertain neural networks with time delay is analyzed based on Lyapunov stability theory. The nonlinear uncertain perturbation in the neural networks satisfies the cone bounded condition. By choosing suitable Lyapunov functional, several sufficient conditions on robust stability and robust exponential stability of uncertain neural networks with time delays are given. All the stable criteria in this paper are presented in terms of linear matrix inequality.

Abstract:In this paper, by utilizing Lyapunov functional method, we analyze global asymptotic stability of neural networks with constant delays. A new sufficient condition ensuring global asymptotic stability of the unique equilibrium point of delayed neural networks is obtained. Furthermore, based on the method of delay differential inequality, the conditions checking global exponential stability of the equilibrium point of neural networks with variable delays are given. Abstract:This brief is concerned with asymptotic stability of neural networks with uncertain delays. Two types of uncertain delays are considered: one is constant while the other is time varying. The discretized Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) method is integrated with the technique of introducing the free-weighting matrix between the terms of the Leibniz-Newton formula. The integrated method leads to the establishment of new delay-dependent sufficient conditions in form of linear matrix inequalities for asymptotic stability of delayed neural networks (DNNs). A numerical simulation study is conducted to demonstrate the obtained theoretical results, which shows their less conservatism than the existing stability criteria.

Abstract:The passivity conditions for delayed neural networks (DNNs) are considered in this paper. We firstly derive the passivity condition for DNNs without uncertainties, and then extend the result to the case with time-varying parametric uncertainties. The proposed approach is based on a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional construction. The passivity conditions are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be easily solved by using the effective interior-point algorithm. Numerical examples are also given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

In terms of linear matrix inequality approach, a delay-dependent sufficient condition of exponential stability is developed for a kind of switching signal with average dwell time. Abstract:The global asymptotic stability of discrete-time Cohen---Grossberg neural networks (CGNNs) with or without time delays is studied in this paper. The CGNNs are transformed into discrete-time interval systems, and several sufficient conditions of asymptotic stability for these interval systems are derived by constructing some suitable Lyapunov functionals. The obtained conditions are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities that can be checked numerically and very efficiently by resorting to the MATLAB LMI Control Toolbox.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the stability analysis problem for uncertain stochastic discrete-time recurrent neural networks with time-varying delay. By using linear matrix inequality method and discrete Jensen inequality, a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii function is established to derive sufficient condition for globally asymptotical stability in mean square of the recurrent neural networks with stochastic disturbance. As an extension, we further consider the stability analysis problem for the same class of neural networks but with uncertainty. It is shown that the newly obtained result is less conservative than the existing ones when the described system is without disturbance and uncertainty. Meanwhile, the computational complexity is reduced since less variable is involved. Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method. Abstract:Some sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of cellular neural networks with variable delay are obtained by means of a method based on delay differential inequality. The method, which does not make use of Lyapunov functionals, is simple and effective for the stability analysis of neural networks with delay. Some previously established results in the literature are shown to be special cases of the presented result.

Abstract:This article concerns the stability issues of neural networks with time-varying delays. The purpose is to establish less conservative stability conditions for delayed neural networks. In order to achieve this goal, a time-varying Lyapunov functional method is proposed for stability analysis of delayed neural networks. The main feature of this method is to construct different Lyapunov functionals in different time-varying delay subintervals, which relaxes the restriction requirement of traditional Lyapunov functionals constructing a common Lyapunov functional in the whole delay interval. Based on the developed time-varying Lyapunov functional, some new stability conditions for delayed neural networks are obtained. Finally, two examples are given to verify the effectiveness of the derived stability conditions.
