Abstract:This paper discusses the content and working principle of File Transfer Protocol and designs an implement of FTP Client in C/S structure,then uses C#language in.NET platform to form Windows intrface of FTP client.Finally it uses the class library of.NET to implement the features such as uploading,deleting and altering.

Abstract:FTP protocol and software,used to transmit files,is a complex technique and its many functions have not been developed in Internet.This paper introduced the software of FTP client,which is developed in the environment of Windows 2000 and Visual C++6.0.The software is carrying out file transmission and file operation between Client and Server in Internet/LAN.Integrated functions of the software were the following: file uploading,file downloading,file browsing at client,file browsing at server,file opening,file deleting,file renaming and information feedback.The software has visual interfaces and the basic and common functions of FTP protocol.

Abstract:This article introduces the design of a new Ftp client. It can make use of the local network resource, realizes the sharing and the convenient quick downloading. This client software is mainly applied to the users who have the common interests and work at the same LAN or the adjacent network, for example the research group on the same re- search direction. This software based on the P2P technology and Ftp technology can download file either from Ftp serv- er or from other peer client at the same LAN or the adjacent network. It also can provide files for other peer clients to share and download. This paper describes the design principles and main technologies.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of the currently popular embedded operating system WinCE.NET,that is not fully supporting USB floppy driver,an implementing strategy for USB floppy based on WinCE.NET is put forward.By adopting stream interface driver model,the USB floppy driving program is developed;The control of USB floppy is implemented with UFI technology.The method and whole procedures for formatting USB floppy are given;the program has been applied successfully in ARM9-based multi-functional computerized embroidery machine.The program is simple and easy to use;it is good reference for developing driving program for similar USB devices.

Abstract:This paper presented a secure file transfer scheme which took advantage of BitTorrent very well.BitTorrent was popular in the Internet for its advantage of sharing files,but there existed some security issues,e.g.,shared files could be accessed by malicious users.Thus,introduced a symmetric cryptography and authentication scheme into BitTorrent.The shared files are encrypted symmetrically before transferring to users through BitTorrent,and the decryption key of the downloaded files will be delivered to users after authentication.Then the validated user could decrypt the ciphertext and get the original plain texts.Evaluation vesults show that the proposed scheme can achieve fast and secure file distribution.

Abstract:The invention discloses a file transfer protocol (FTP) data transmission method and an FTP data transmission system. If a data session creation mode is an active mode, an FTP client transmits own Internet protocol (IP) address and a temporary port number to an FTP server in a control session by a PORT command or an EPRT command for the data session creation of the FTP server. If the data creation mode is a passive mode, the FTP server transmits own IP address and the temporary port number to the FTP client in the control session by a PASV command or an EPSV command transmitted by the FTP client for the data session creation of the FTP client. By the method and the system, the communication of the FTP client and the FTP server between an Internet protocol Version 6 (IPv6) network and an IPv4 network can be realized under the condition of not adding an application layer gateway.

Abstract:In this paper, we conduct research on Standard Interchange Protocol 2 (SIP2). Then, based on the research, a SIP2 class is designed using object-oriented model. The SIP2 class includes several methods, which comprise check in, check out, patron status, and so forth. To demonstrate its functionality, we use the SIP2 class in a new library circulation system. Compared to traditional protocols for transaction in library system, test results show that our implementation of SIP2 class works well and has a better performance.

Abstract:With the development of the Internet,FTP is regarded as the main pattern of sharing files.FTP and HTTP have many different features,like compartmentalization and obturation.It means that it is more difficult for FTP sites to do the indexing work.At present,the indexing work on FTP sites is spread out around filename and it makes users hard to obtain the required information.We put forward a system called iSearch,which is a distributed FTP search engine that based on content.It can index document contents and has many characteristics including incremental indexing,plug-in configuration,loading-balance,inquiring distribution and so on.At the same time,it provides a more stable and accurate inquiring service by reducing the cost of network transmission in the process,indexing more file information,making full use of the user feedback and support a more stable query service.

Abstract:Based on the file transfer service in GOS(grid operating system)Grid Community,a new FTP(file transfer protocol)was designed,and an implementation of CFTP(community file transfer protocol) was made.The newly designed protocol applies technologies such as Block Mode Transfer,Strip Mode Transfer,Transmission of Transfer Thread and Connection Multiplexing files in small blocks,distinguished from the original FTP of Applet or HPCG(high preformance computing gateway),which avoid/overcome the original protocols′ shortcomings such as inadequate support for file size and low efficiency.After the testing and tryout,the file transfer efficiency of uploading and downloading large files or large quantities of files in small blocks and third-party transfer with CFTP was improved considerably.In transferring the plain files,and the time used in transferring with CFTP has a improvement of 14.83% than transfer with HPCG and 21.7% than transfer with Applet when uploading files,and the file transfer efficiency with CFTP has a improvement of 20.2% than transfer with HPCG and 4.9% than transfer with Applet when downloading files.

Abstract:Although the socket API is the defact standard of network programming interface nowadays, it suffers from some shortages as high complexity of interface, poor support for protocol-independent programming, and low cross-platform capability. Concerning these problems, cross-platform and protocol-independent network programming techniques are studied. Furthermore, a cross-platform protocol-independent network class library is implemented with C++, which supports both Windows and Linux, protocol-independent network programming, unicast, ASM and SSM multicast, supports both UDP and TCP transmission,and standard I/O stream based on TCP communication. It validated that this class library has accomplished the cross-platform and protocol-independent design goal through application in a practical network measurement system.
FTP-M: An FTP-like Multicast File Transfer Application

Abstract:Research in Reliable Multicast has focused on providing scalable, semi-reliable delivery of data. Such solutions based on schemes like SRM have proved adequate for multicast delivery of multimedia data or whiteboard applications, but are inadequate for the strict delivery semantics of file transfer. This paper describes a simple application called FTP-M that provides an efficient one-to-many multicast data transfer by simply extending the FTP protocol and user interface. FTP-M relies on a {\em strictly-reliable} Reliable Multicast protocol layer beneath to send data reliably to multiple receivers. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of FTP-M. We suggest that FTP-M has the potential to be adopted as a standard way to achieve multicast file transfer.
