Social Policy and Social Construction:Concurrently on the Enlightenment of Recent Trend of International Social Policy to China

Abstract:To strengthen social construction,effort to improve people's livelihood and innovate social management,is a major issue that particularly emphasized and highly valued by the Communist Party of China and Chinese Government in the 21st century.Making improve people's livelihood as the purpose,help vulner able groups as its own responsibility,and achieve social justice and harmony as the basic idea and goal,social policy has great significance for implementing the party and the government's strategic plan of promoting social construction and building a harmonious society.Based on comprehensive discussion of the connotation of social construction and the significance of speeding up social construction,this article discusses the rela tionship between social policy and social construction from the broad and narrow sense,so as to provide theoretical basis and actual reference for introducing social policies and promoting social development.Finally,this article discusses the enlightenment of recent trend of international social policy to social construction in China.
