Abstract:This paper synthetically discussed the concept and the existing problems of the intensive urban land use in cities of China from the perspective of the information economy,and illustrated the reason for problems which occurred in the management with the theory of moral risk.Finally,in the light of the relationship of principal-agent——between the local authorities and the central government——in the intensive land use,the paper designed the goal of intensive land use of cities by means of profit-based method,thus eliminating the asymmetric information of the local government,and realizing the ultimate goal of intensive urban land use of the central government.

Abstract:The behavioral economics indicates that people are not only pursuing their private profits but also pursue irrational psychology such as fairness and reciprocity which influencing the people's behavior.Based on the social preference theory and the utility model,this paper changes the hypothetical precondition of conventional principal-agent model,discusses a new principal-agent model which agent concerning about others' well-being and motivation and showing different kinds of irrational psychology.The results show that the irrational psychology has crucial influence on the contract structure and the incentive efficiency and profit of principal.The behavior of irrational agent is more complex and he will seek balance between irrational psychology and self-interest.

Abstract:This paper is intended to model the principal-agent relationship and its associated monitoring-incentive problems of the public economy. The basic findings are: (1) the degree of publicness and the size of the public economy matter: the monitoring effort of the original principals and the work effort of the ultimate agents decrease with the degree of publicness and the size of the public economy; (2) a corrupt public economy can be a Pareto-improvement over the non-corrupt public economy. The first finding sheds some light upon performance comparison between different public economies (such as between Singapore and China). The second finding explains why all socialist economies are corrupt ones. The paper applies the above results particularly to the Chinese economy.

Abstract:Progressively stricter requirements of labor division have led to the blossom of the principal-agent model, where differences in objective functions between the principal and the agent, as well as information asymmetry, often hinder the principal from maximizing their utility and can result in potential harm to both parties and social welfare. This paper aims to analyze the endogenous causes and issues resulting from the principal-agent model and proposes solutions. Additionally, the shareholder-CEO relationship in finance is applied as a specific case of the principal-agent model for further analysis. Through the construct of a simple model and a signaling mechanism pondering more realistic elements, the negative effect of information asymmetry can be weakened. Lastly, based on the findings of this paper and existing empirical research, the article proposes specific schemes for the above-mentioned mechanism and discusses their implementation and implications. The investigation of principal-agent issues and the proposal of appropriate countermeasures are of great significance and are always frontier concerns for both academia and society.

Abstract:The common fraud events between the public accounting firm and the audited enterprise have occurred frequently, coupled with the lack of supervision and punishment, so that the quality of accounting information is constantly seriously questioned by the public. In this paper, I establish the principal-agent model of uncertainty and without supervision between the accounting firm and enterprise by making use of principal-agent theory, analyze the model's participation constraint and incentive compatibility constraint, and establish the benefit matrix between the accounting firm and government by applying the related game theory. Thus the related decision-making recommendations for the current situation are drawn.

Abstract:By incorporating Rabin's concept of fair gambling into the Principal——Agent model,this paper develops a new model featuring the irrational behavior of the agent's showing reciprocity,whereby an agency agreement can be reached to maximize the benefit and produce a higher profit than from Holmstrom-Milgrom optimal Principa-lAgent contract.The new model can help to illustrate the humanization management of businesses and account for the development of this kind of corporate culture.The paper is an attempt to combine behavior economics and incentive mechanism theory and makes an innovative exploration into the construction of the structure of the information economics using behavior economics principle.

Abstract:There has been a growing concern in the field of economics about resolving the dilemma between lowering the agency cost caused by asymmetric information and increasing moral risk problems.Although the principal-agent theory can help remove the dilemma,it does not take into consideration high supervision and control costs.The goal of this paper is to seek solutions to effectively reducing the agency cost from the perspective of behavior economics.By emphasizing the intrinsic factors of agents,we introduced the factor of horizontal income comparison of agents.We sorted and structured agents according to the degree of their horizontal fairness preference.A hypothesis was proposed to investigate if a principal could have a preference to elect the types of agents he is interested in working with to reduce the agency cost in the process of hiring an agent.This paper proposes two agents would concern their incomes and comparative incomes from their own jobs if they could perform jobs independently We expanded Holmstrom and Milgrom's(HM) single agent model into a new principal-agent model that helps explain double agents under the fairness preference condition.After incorporating new incentive mechanisms and the factor of horizontal fairness preference into the principal-agent model,we analyzed the effect of information symmetry on incentives and agency cost.This paper consists of five sections.The first section illustrates self-interest suppositions from the perspective of traditional economics,and the necessity of establishing fairness suppositions from the perspective of behavior economics.This paper proposes a principal-agent model to analyze double agents based on Fehr and Schmidt's(1999) fairness preference theory and techniques.The second section primarily discussed the horizontal principal-agent model,and revealed similarities and differences of incentive mechanisms of the traditional HM model under different self-interest preference conditions.The third section argued that after considering information asymmetry of agents the horizontal principal-agent model could produce incentive effects different from those of the same model with vertical fairness preference and the traditional HM model with self-interest preference.The fourth section reveals that information asymmetry can produce agency costs using the principal-agent model.The agency cost is negatively related to the degree of the horizontal fairness preference.The agency cost is close to zero when agents have an infinite degree of horizontal fairness preference.The last section concludes the findings of previous sections.This paper provides a new alternative to resolving the dilemma between lowering the agency cost caused by information asymmetry and increasing moral risk problems that long exists in the traditional economics theory.Our proposed principal-agent model shows that the agency cost and moral risks can both be largely reduced by adjusting the agent structure and hiring agents with a higher degree of horizontal fairness preference.

Abstract:Aim at the social phenomena about the moral hazard problem of agent in addressing the eco-environmental issues in China, we think that the factors influencing moral hazard mainly include normal income after completing contracts honestly, the probability that the behavior of moral hazard is discovered, discount factor, the additional income of the behavior of moral hazard and inferior income after the behavior of moral hazard is discovered. Then we build a mathematical model which goal is expectant income and analyze the relationship between the behavior motive of moral hazard of agent and its influencing factors. Then, we extend the model that includes the supervisory cost and the influence of random factors. Finally, we put forward correlative strategies about supervisal, inspirit and cooperation.

Abstract:The traditional principal-agent model does not fully consider the irrational behaviors and the effect of psychological factors of the principal and agent,nor resolves the double moral hazard problem such as the adverse selection. This paper introduced the overconfidence,the dismissal compensation and the principal's dismissal liability into the principal-agent model,redesigned the contract,analyzed the effect of(overconfidence) on the effort level,incentive coefficient,fixed compensation and the agency cost through mathematical deduction,and set up the double moral hazard prevention mechanism based on the(agent's) (overconfidence,) which can also resolve the low incentive efficiency to encourage the agents to work hard for the principal's interests.

Abstract:This paper gives a principal-agent model for multi-agent cooperation, and analyzes the usual agent cooperation methods with this model, finally gives examples and discusses of this model. Through the design of the incentive contract that the principal provides for the agent, this model can stimulate the agent to do its best for the principal in cooperation, and to accomplish the cooperation of the principal's will, even they are in the condition of asymmetric information about their cooperation. So this model can restrain the agent deception in cooperation. It also provides a method for calculating how much the cooperation initiator should pay for its cooperative partner for making the cooperation.

Abstract:Aiming at the limitation of the often-used hypothesis that principal is risk neutral and agent is risk adverse,the expanded hypothesis is given here that the players' risk attitude has four states,firstly principal is risk neutral and agent is risk adverse,secondly they are both risk neutral,thirdly principal is risk adverse and agent is risk neutral,the last is they are both risk adverse.And the optimal incentive mechanism is studied under each state.The united principle-agent model is proposed,and the comparison among the four optimal mechanisms is given.The model results show that the principal's returns decrease with its risk adverse increasing or the agent's risk adverse increasing.And it gives explain that why some enterprises offer some training program to the agents free of charge and practicing their enterprising spirit,and sometimes the enterprise gives some tests to estimate the agents' risk attitude.

Abstract:Effective anti-bribery law should be guided by behavioral law and economics theory and based on complete knowledge and thorough understanding of bribery offence itself. Bribery involves a series of interactions between the briber, the bribee , the general public and the State. The trade between the briber and the bribee is asymmetric. While both parties face trust issue and double risks, they also depend on each other and have reciprocity tendency. They are money-maximizer yet also have revenge sentiment. The victim of bribery tends to be indirect and ambiguous. Self-reporting is practically more important than external detection among bribery discovery channels.

Abstract:In the studies of government regulation for natural monopoly enterprises,it is a basic assumption that the regulator looks like the public advocates and defenders of the national interest.In actual operation,the regulator also is a pursuer who wants to maximize his effectiveness.This double-identity might lead to the abuse of regulatory of power by collusion with the regulated enterprises so it is acquired the interests of both sides.This is the so-called regulatory capture issue which greatly increased the incompleteness of government regulation.This paper will discuss the problem using the multiple principal-agent models under the asymmetric information,and put up the corresponding restrictive means based on the conclusion of model analysis.

Abstract:The authors put forward that, with the help of game theory, the equili brium path about principal-agent problem is studied on the condition of perfect information, complete information and its asymmetry. Furthermore, the authorstry to find out the optimum choice and key equation for each side under pareto con ditions, meanwhile they draw out a conclusion that market mechanism imperfection and loss-of-credit will lead both sidesoff the correct path. The authors also points out that information asymmetry has great impact on principal-agent. And the perfect record of managers' credit and honesty and the encouragement of opera tors' devotion to their duties is the considerable solution to this problem.
