Abstract:In order to meet the training needs of the academic, applied and interdisciplinary graduates, the teaching reform and practice of school public course"surface physical chemistry"was carried out in Harbin Institute of Technology. The necessity of classification teaching of the course was discussed and two kinds of teaching content systems were established according to the needs of the classification training of graduates. The learning demands and undergraduate foundations of graduate students with different types are ful y considered in the teaching organization and implementation and accumulative-type assessment as wel . In the teaching processes, the combination of teaching and scientific research and the unification of theory and the practice are much concerned, which real y serve the classification of graduate student training. In this way, the reform of the course is adapted to the demands of the talent cultivation for two types of graduate students and interdisciplinary graduate students.
