Financing Channels for High-tech Industry: International Comparisons and Empirical Analysis

Abstract:High-tech industry lies in that point where economy and technique "many". The developing level of high-tech industry reflects one nation's future international competing ability. However, the big problem to high-tech industry is just its financing problem, especially financing channel problem. This paper mainly explores the following problems; explaining the nature of high-tech industry or enterprise growth and its financing channels; at above base, this paper then makes some international comparisons and does some empirical studies to China based on some regressive models; at last, this paper also gives some policy suggestions based on the international comparisons and the empirical studies.
