Abstract:A 100Mb/s optical burst transceiver is designed and implemented in this paper. Spatial oversampling technology is adopted for optical burst data recovery. Burst transmitter is implemented through controlling driver circuit of laser device. The test results show that this scheme can implement correctly burst data's transmission and reception. It can also reduce preamble overhead in burst packet head and raise bandwidth utility through eliminating waiting time needed by phase lock and clock recovery.
