Abstract:In view of the demand of the information security and the special environment restrictions of radar base,a remote fault diagnosis expert system based on the public switched telephone network(PSTN) is proposed.This system combines fault diagnosis technique and expert system to achieve a quick and effective fault diagnosis via creating a dial-up connection between on-site maintenance and outfield maintenance.This system meets the requirement of information security of military equipment via transmitting the information by the PSTN,and it has been applied well to a military radar board fault diagnosis expert system.
