Abstract:In-situ silicone dioxide modified rubber powder (ISRP) was prepared by sol-gel method and analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis.The results indica- ted'that there was an O—Si—O network of about 3%-5% mass fraction generated in the internal transition zone of ISRP and the temperature loss 5% of ISRP was improved 72.4℃,which showed a great improvement in thermal stability of ISRP.The NR/ISRP (100/50) composites were prepared by mixing method and the effect of the amount of pre- cursor and organosiloxane KH 570 on properties of them were studied.The NR/ISRP (100/50) adding KH 570 composites showed better mechanical prop- erties and dynamic mechanical properties than NR and NR/rubber powder composites.
