Abstract:Remote data acquisition has been widely applied in many industry fields such as metallurgy and chemical, but many remote data acquisition system which are often been used have much shortcoming. Development of GSM communication technology makes Short Message begin to be applied on industrial control field. Short Message System has the merits of wide coverage, low cost, easy development and high reliability, so it is fit for remote data acquisition. Abstract:This research work investigates the potential of Full Home Control, which is the aim of the Home Automation Systems in near future. The analysis and implementation of the home automation technology using Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) modem to control home appliances such as light, conditional system, and security system via Short Message Service (SMS) text messages is presented in this paper. The proposed research work is focused on the functionality of the GSM protocol, which allows the user to control the target system away from residential using the frequency bandwidths. The concept of serial communication and AT-commands has been applied towards the development of the smart GSM-based home automation system. Homeowners will be able to receive feedback status of any home appliances under control whether switched on or off remotely from their mobile phones. PIC16F887 microcontroller with the integration of GSM provides the smart automated house system with the desired baud rate of 9600 bps. The proposed prototype of GSM based home automation system was implemented and tested with a maximum of four loads and shows the accuracy of greater or equal 98%.

Abstract:The remote monitoring and alarm system based on ARM9 forsending alarm images in real time is proposed and designed.With Linux as software platform and mini2440 board as hardware platform,this system acquires photos by cameras,and monitors the screen with LCD real-time display.If any change of the monitoring area is found within the set time,the alarm image would be sent through GSM communication module.The existing monitoring system is relatively complex and only suitable for large-scale applications,the proposed system is more applicable to small occasions.The user may pick up the alarm image with mobile phone,thus saving the cost and extending the application scope.

Abstract:The last few years has seen a massive growth of applications for smart phone operating systems such as Android, IOS. Short message services (SMS) is one of them. Although SMS as an application has existed for a long time, the method for managing short messages is rather outdated and very inconvenient. The is partially because most of the SMS applications are inherited from old fashioned mobile platforms, in which users of mobile phone usually concentrate on basic phone service and demand less for SMS. With the introduction of smart phone operating system, the old-fashioned method of short messages management is not suitable. To cope with this problem, in this paper we first conduct research on modern ways of short messages management, and then a short message services management system for mobile devices is designed. In this new system, more advanced options, such as messages query by date, by sender and sending a message to many receivers at the same time, for short messages is provided. Moreover, to validate our research and design, we implement the system based on Android platform. And we conduct some experiments with this system and test results shows that our system works quite well. With the mobile Internet becoming increasingly important to life, our research is expected to improve work efficiency greatly.

Abstract:With the increasing number of electrical equipment in the home, the safety of household appliances, electricity statistics and remote transmission of information are becoming more and more important. In order to solve this problem, this paper uses STM32F103C8T6 single chip microcomputer as the main control chip to design an intelligent socket system which can measure the power consumption, and display the power consumption information locally, and control the wireless communication with the mobile phone through GSM. The intelligent socket system adopts low power supply, and the collection of power consumption is completed by current transformer ZMCT103C. The communication mode of the system is GSM communication, and the user can plug in the intelligent plug through the mobile phone APP at any place. The system sends text messages to control on-off and timing, so as to achieve the need to save electricity. In this paper, the system software is designed, and the mainstream diagram of the system and the flow chart of the main control modules are given. Finally, the measurement and actual power consumption data of the system are given, and the physical diagram of the system is given. After various tests, the system has the advantages of high reliability and strong measurement and control function, and can be widely used in smart home control system.

Abstract:In our modern science and digital technological revolution, to provide information and services to manage the state of the elements around us, where Eternity is things that unite everything in the world under one infrastructure, including things, people, places and processes. In smart grid operations, we focus on increasing cost and efficiency through load management and control. To regulate all load/power controllers at each end of the customer, this prototype demand-side control system uses a centralized system with a power management module. At each client end, a data entry scheme is used to retransmit load scheduling requests: GSM is used for wireless data transmission between multiple devices. Several loads, an Arduino Uno, relay modules, current sensors, and a target to control four electronic devices or home lighting by sending a message containing a word that is compared to the word written in the code stored in the microcontroller. If the words match, an LED is required on one of the Adriano ports so that each LED represents a specific replacement candidate. We can easily change the word written in the code using the Adriano software. The system is implemented with a high time response, so all readings are updated and appear spontaneously. The developed system should be Efficient, safe and fast. The smart home system must be implemented in real time

Abstract:This article describes the design and creation of a smart, controlling and realtime monitoring system for intelligent building. The system primarily tracks electrical variables like current and voltage and then determines the amount of power used. The application of the controlling technique to appliances in many ways makes this system innovative. The system created is versatile and affordable, allowing users to reduce their power costs, when a message is sent through GSM. The prototype has undergone thorough testing in actual settings, and the results of the experiments are quite positive. This technique can shut off the power supply when electricity is misused and send information to intelligent buildings through GSM.

Abstract:Remote home management is one of the developing areas in current technology. In this paper we described how to manage and control home appliances using mobile phone, people can use this system to do things in their home from a far place before they reach home. For instance, user may start his/her room cooler or heater so that before they reach home the condition in the room will be conducive, also appliances like washing machine and cooker can be started and if the time taken for this appliances to perform a task is known that can also be set, so that if the time elapsed the appliance will automatically switch off itself. To control an appliance the user sends a command in form of SMS from his/her mobile phone to a computer which is connected to the appliance, once the message is received the computer will send the command to a microcontroller for controlling the appliance appropriately.

Abstract:With the rapid development of economy, science, and technology, people have higher and higher requirements for the quality of home life, and smart home systems are required to have higher convenience and comfort. The continuous development of embedded technology, short-range wireless communication technology, and microcontroller technology provides a new development direction for the research and development of smart home systems. Under the premise of fully studying the research status and development trend of smart home systems, this paper combines embedded technology, ZigBee wireless communication technology, voice recognition technology, GSM communication technology, etc., and proposes a ZigBee-based smart voice home appliance control system. The system adopts ZigBee wireless communication to form a comprehensive management system for household electrical appliances, electronic and electrical equipment, etc., for household electrical control, intelligent security, and environmental monitoring. This paper designs the overall scheme of a smart home control system based on voice recognition technology. According to this scheme, the hardware and software of the system are designed, and the wireless communication method combining Wi-Fi and RF (radio frequency) of the system is also determined. In order to make the system more humane, two sets of control schemes, voice control and button control, are designed according to the system’s functional requirements. In the voice control solution, the user first reads the control commands set in the voice library on the smart terminal, and then, the system automatically recognizes the commands read by the user. After the recognition is successful, the user can control the home appliances through the command. In the key control scheme, users can control home appliances through keys on the smart terminal. The upper computer transplants the audio library and the algorithm studied in this paper to realize the audio collection and storage, the confirmation of family members, and the recognition of voice commands; the lower computer is used for real-time collection of environmental information and wireless control of home facilities. After the system is started, the family members are first confirmed by voice, and then, the voice command recognition result and real-time environmental information jointly decide to form a control command. The upper computer sends the control command to the lower computer through the serial port to control the corresponding home equipment. The system is tested and analyzed under experimental conditions. The test results show that the system can control home facilities through voice commands combined with real-time environmental information while confirming family members.

Abstract:Considering the problems of household appliances intelligent control and remote intelligent control,the Internet-based household appli- ances intelligent control system is designed.The main hardware structure and the software block diagrams of the system are presented, and the main functions and working principles of the major functional segments of the system are described in this thesis.The original shape and internal structure of household appliances are unnecessarily changed for this control system,which makes the system secure and acceptable for users.The experiments show that the safety and flexibility are improved when using remote control of household ap- pliances.The system is easy-to-operate and its performance is stable.

Abstract:Aiming at the shortcomings of the fire alarm system, a kind of intelligent fire alarm system based on GSM network is proposed. The system uses AT89S52 microcontroller as the core of the control system to implement the collection of temperature and smoke information and the fire automatic alarm processing. Communication with the users is fulfilled through the GSM global mobile communication in this system. Its short message transmission mode has broken the geographical constraints. It can achieve that the fire information is sent to the mobile phone of the relevant personnel accurately and timely when a fire occurs. It brings the convenience of taking the fire-protection measures in time. Experimental result is the effect. It can meet the design challenge.

Abstract:This paper analyzes the current mainstream solutions of smart homes, discusses the necessity and feasibility of introducing both industrial control standards and industrial control technology into the field of home intelligence, determines the design goals, and proposes a new wireless smart home solution. (The new solution is as follows: The hardware is made up of android smart phones, PLC, WiFi communication module, etc. And the master server class library based on Modbus TCP is developed. And therefore, wireless online and real-time control of household appliances through Modbus TCP communication and SMS messaging is realized.) The paper then discusses the innovative points, advantages and application fields of the solution. Finally, it is concluded that the new scheme has high security and reliability, and is scientific, innovative, and practical. It has certain reference significance for the development of smart home technology.
