Study on the Essential Oil of Dipterocarpus tubinatus Wood

Abstract:The volatile components in the Dipterocarpus tubinatus Gaertn.f.were analyzed quantitatively by gas chromatography mass spectrometry(GC/MS).34 volatile components were identified and determined, amounting to 90.03% of the total area of the peaks. The principal constituents in the volatiles were δ-elemene (9.50%);α-copaene (2.90%);α-gurjunene (27.87%); caryophyllene (1.98%);β-cubebene (1.09%);β-guaiene (1.02%);α-caryophyllene (1.08%);β-gurjunene (1.51%);γ-muurolene (8.10%);α-cadinene (3.70%);δ-selinene (1.58%);α-muurolene (7.02%);γ-cadinene (2.05%);δ-cadinene (8.75%);α-calacorene (1.17%);α-cadinol (2.20%).
