Application of an ELISA in Olympic Food Safety

Abstract:Veterinary drugs and pesticides not only bring safety risk to human, but are potential source of doping for athletes. It is necessary to develop a sensitive and fast analysis method for Olympic food safety. This paper introduced the technology and principle of an ELISA, and summarized on ELISA appliance to the analysis of veterinary drug and pesticide residues. In this paper, the problems lie in appliance of ELISA were discussed, and the future development of ELISA is reviewed.
