Abstract:This paper put forward a structural equation model reflecting the influencing factors of farmers' transaction costs from the perspective of transaction costs theory.The corresponding questionnaire was designed and applied to the samples of 900apple-planting households from the apple prepotent area of Bohai Bay Area and Loess Plateau Area,and the collected data was used for computing and analyzing by AMOS software.Our research work shows that farmers' specialized cooperatives participation,the quality of crops,and the farmers' own factors have significant influence on farmers' transaction costs,and regional factors have a certain but not our expecting significant impact on farmers transaction costs.Finally,some proposals were given for the innovation of farmers' specialized cooperatives,such as trading information supplying,high-value crop introduction,farmers transaction skills training as well as agricultural products sales service to reduce farmers' transaction costs.
