The Breakthroughs and Transformations of China's Disaster Report Model——Wenchuan Earthquake Reports As an Example

Abstract:This paper took Wenchuan earthquake reports as an example to gave further discussion on the breakthroughs and transformations of China Disaster reports model and points out that China has experienced three kinds of disaster report models in the past 60 years: the Party-based one-dimensional model,the thing-oriented multi-dimensional objective model and the people-based holographic open model.Furthermore,the paper analyzes new breakthroughs of the people-based holographic open model:the holographic-based open report framework breaks through the closed one-dimensional report framework;the humane report breaks through the modeled report and collective presentation is transformed into individual presentation;civilian-oriented perspective is highlighted,showing the survival of pluralistic personalities and avoiding deifying heroes and publicizing leaders.On the basis of these,however,the paper also gives a reflection on the issues about breakthroughs and transformations in the Wenchuan earthquake reports.
