Abstract:As the material basis of clinical examination, in -vitro diagnostic reagent could directly affect the timeliness and accuracy of clinical examination report if it was not uses properly. This article discusses about how to strengthen the management for the temperature monitoring, effect management, inventory management and cost-benefit analysis of in-vitro diagnostic reagents. Abstract:This article is based on the ordinary ABC classification, uses the improved ABC classification to classify the company's equipment and spare parts, and combine the results of those classifications to give the final conclusion. This classification is much better than the ordinary one, for it considers more important facts affecting manufacturing. This article uses Fuzzy Evaluation Analysis to classify its unique spare parts, and establishes the excess spare parts model to decrease quantities of the spare parts and therefore save the fluid funds of the company.

Abstract:Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose a smart spare parts inventory management system for a semiconductor manufacturing company. Design/methodology/approach With the development of the Internet of Things and big data analytics, more information can be obtained and shared between fabs and suppliers. Findings On the basis of the characteristics of spare parts, the authors classify the spare parts into two types, the consumable and contingent parts, and manage them through a cyber-physical inventory management system. Originality/value In this new business model, the real time information from machines, shop floors, spare parts database and suppliers are used to make better decisions and establish transparency and flexibility between fabs and suppliers.

Abstract:The fast development of domestic auto part trade has put some new requirements on the sales and marketing management. Manyearly-developed management systems basedon the traditional technology are not sufficientto satisfy these new requirements. UML, as an expressive and powerful standard object-oriented modeling language, has been widely used in management information system. After analyzing the modeling functionalities of UML, an auto-parts-trade sales management system is proposed and implemented using UML as the modeling tool. This system has been deployed in some auto-part sales enterprises. The practice shows that it has greatly im- proved the sales management quality of the users.

Abstract:The spare parts of naval ships are major support for regular and emergent maintenance. The allo?cation level of spare parts is directly related to the logistic capability and investment. Based on both foreign and domestic study about spare parts allocation, this paper analyzes the ship maintenance system and sum?marizes the categories for different approaches such as the historical data forecasting method, METRIC the?ory-based method, and system reliability-based method according to their own theoretical basis and mathe?matic models. Meanwhile, the advantages and disadvantages of these methods are comparatively studied. Fi?nally, the research directions considering component importance, multi-constraints, and multi-objective optimization, and spare parts sharing strategy optimization are proposed.

Abstract:The authors of the paper studied systematically the status quo of the management model of the spares both in China and abroad, analyzed the structure and flow of the management system of the spares, established a two-level optimized simulation model and arithmetic and carried out simulation studies in the visualized ARENA simulation situation. The optimized model and arithmetic for spares raised in the paper can be used both in the management of the maintenance equipment for weapons, and in the management of spare parts of civil products. It has far-reaching practical value and meaning.

Abstract:In order to solve the difficult demand prediction problem of main key spare parts in large power equipment manufactur-ing supply enterprises,the multi-source heterogeneous information from multisectoral departments was trimmed,classified and analyzed,and a spare parts demand prediction model based on multi-source information classification optimization was proposed. This model mainly included the establishment of the basic spare parts inventory,the model optimization of customer satisfaction rate,spare parts reserve strategy and the product service status.The spare parts results from hierarchical optimization prediction model,combined with time series forecasting method and enterprise actual forecasting methods respectively were analyzed by an actural example.Model actual satisfied rate is improved from 90.32% and 98.81% respectively to 98.87%.Meanwhile,practi-cal feasibility and economical efficiency were verified for large equipment main key spare parts demand prediction.

Abstract:As the material foundation of the Aeronautic equipment maintenance support,the precision maintenance demands spare parts supervise reasonably,which refers to the missions.Focusing on the system with multi-items with different life distributions,the paper takes the spare parts demand supervise as the research object,and the simulation method of Mento-Carlo is used to establish the model,in which operational availability of equipment can be maximized using this arithmetic while meets the limitation of spare parts cost,problem as a combination one,the marginal analysis method is presented to solve the optimization problem.An application example is also given to validate the feasibility and validity of the method.

Abstract:With the advent of Industry 4.0, more and more data can be available to companies. Especially in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) where sensors are connected to machines, rich sensor data can be collected. However, there is still a challenge to transform the data into useful information that enables a better decision. In this paper, we focus on the inventory decisions for the spare parts. The spare parts are expensive and it takes long lead time to procure them from overseas. It is critical for companies to make better inventory decisions for spare parts. We proposed a smart inventory management system for spare parts, which can take advantage of the updated sensor data and allow better decisions through modeling the degradation process of critical operating components. In this system, the ordering decision is updated dynamically based on real time sensor data.

Abstract:Spare parts are one of the important components of the equipment comprehensive support system. Spare parts management plays a decisive role in achieving the desired availability with the minimum cost. With the equipment complexity increasing, the price of spare parts has risen sharply. The traditional spare parts management makes the contradiction between fund shortage and spare parts shortage increasingly prominent. Based on the analysis of the multi-echelon and multi-indenture spare parts support model VARI-METRIC (vary multi-echelon technology for recoverable item control, VARI-METRIC), which is widely used by troops and enterprises in various countries, the model is mainly used in high system availability scenarios. However, in the case of low equipment system availability, the accuracy and cost of model inventory prediction are not ideal. This paper proposed the multi-level spare parts optimization model, which is based on the demand-supply steady-state process. It is an analytical model, which is used to solve the low accuracy problem of the VARI-METRIC model in the low equipment system availability. The analytical model is based on the multi-level spare parts support process. The article deduces methods for solving demand rate, demand–supply rate, equipment system availability, and support system availability. The marginal analysis method is used in the model to analyze the spare parts inventory allocation strategy’s current based cost and availability optimal value. Finally, a simulation model is established to evaluate and verify the model. Then, the simulation results show that, when the low availability of equipment systems are 0.4, 0.6, the relative errors of the analytical model are 3.54%, 3.86%, and its costs are 0.52, 1.795 million ¥ RMB. The experiment proves that the inventory prediction accuracy of the analytical model is significantly higher than that of the VARI-METRIC model in low equipment system availability. Finally, the conclusion and future research directions are discussed.

Abstract:<p>As one of the critical issues in operations management, spare parts planning classification systems based only on cost may not withstand the test of time because of continuing technological advancement or environmental degradation. This study, however, emphasizes using Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) as a basis for designing an ABC classification system that is capable of more accurately determining critical equipment and making maintenance more efficient. In the proposed methodology, risk priority numbers (RPN) and criticality as an index of safety and reliability can be obtained using a structured failure analysis technique. These indexes can be added to the economic indicator of maintenance cost, and then a classification model of spare parts can be established according to a comprehensive scoring method. The model is calibrated by using case data from a bus braking system, and the components of the braking system are compared and analyzed. The results show that the improved ABC classification method reduces the proportion of key and main components. This method can make maintenance work more efficient, targeting the most critical components, and can reduce administrative costs for enterprises.</p>

Abstract:Timely and cost-effective supply of spare parts is the main purpose of spare parts inventory management and substitution is an effective way to fulfill demand on time. However, direct substitution of spare parts is not suitable for the high-tech industries due to the ever-changing nature of the product structures. Hence, parts should be transformed to be used as substitutes. This paper provides a novel spare parts inventory control model for the high-tech industries. In the proposed model, part transformation-based substitution is considered and the near-optimal values of spare part inventory levels (s, S) that minimize total cost are determined by using a simulated annealing-based simulation optimization approach. Computational analyses are performed for a hypothetical inventory system by considering transformation and no-transformation cases. The results reveal that transformation is very useful for the companies who endure long production lead times and high penalty costs associated with backorders.

Abstract:In order to reduce the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) costs existing in wind farms, optimization for spare parts inventories becomes necessary. In this paper, the inventory management model of Wind Turbine (WT) component's spare parts is established with non-stationary stochastic demands under continuous review (r, Q) polices. Herewith, expert knowledge is involved to build a Fault Tree (FT) that presents complicated dependence information among WT components. Moreover, Binary Decision Diagram (BDD) and the Barlow-Proschan (BP) importance measure are employed to reveal the relative extent to which a component is critical for the system extra downtime cost due to the shortage of spare parts. Finally, with the numerical results of the optimization, the feasibility of the proposed scheme is verified.
