Abstract:Through comparative research on different of competitive result in national championship between 2000—2003,the author thinks that there is big different between new regulation and old one since implementing new regulation in recent two years.New regulation leads to fair match and new talented appeared.However,there still something needs to improve in routine movement and composition.

Abstract:By investigating and comparing the thoughts, method and competition's judgement standard of Wushu Sanshou and taekwondo, we found that there are quite big diversity among their skill purpose, attack thoughts and direction of the judgment. These diversities demonstrate Wushu Sanshou′s unique styles and characteristics, on the other hand, they also show that the Wushu Sanshou isn′t mature enough in the competition. Competition should change the tumble skill which may affected Wushu Sanshou′s characteristic of the athletics, cancel the score standard of attack on crus and the scoring of sooner-later falling down.

Abstract:AbstrcatFirst based on the Chinese traditional culture which draws on logos, harmony and unity, and dialectical and objective thought, this study explores the characteristics of Chinese traditional culture in the competitive Wushu routines. Secondly, in the view of the Western culture with an emphasis on competition, scientific spirits, and regulations, this study probes into the contribution of the competitive Wushu to the Western culture. Eventually, it is proposed that as the combination of the Western and Eastern culture, the competitive Wushu routines can prefigure out the future tendency of the human culture and sports.

Abstract:Abstract: Chinese and Western sports are in two different social systems. Because of the difference in their origin, cognition and value trend, two kinds of sports cultures of different natures have been created. Each of which interprets the characteristics of human civilization in different forms. In Chinese culture, sports are often closely associated with Taoist and Confucian philosophies. Taoism emphasizes “letting nature take its course”, and physical exercise is regarded as a means of harmonizing body and mind, and achieving unity of body and mind. Confucianism believes that sports are to cultivate people’s morality and etiquette, not just to pursue physical limits. In contrast, Western sports philosophy usually emphasizes competition, challenge and self-transcendence. This idea can be traced back to ancient Greece’s Olympic spirit, which is to demonstrate individual honor, strength and courage through physical exercise. In general, although Chinese and Western sports philosophies both believe that sports are an exercise for the human body and spirit, they differ in values, goals and methods. This study takes the comparison between traditional Chinese sports culture and Western sports culture as the starting point and attempts to analyze the commonalities and differences between the two. This has important practical significance for enriching world sports culture and promoting the development of world sports culture.

Abstract:Influenced by the three schools of thought of Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism in Chinese traditional culture, the Chinese sports culture has apparent differences compared to its counterpart in the West. Chinese traditional sports culture pursues “the cultivation of human mind” and “the identity of human and nature,” achieves moral and spiritual satisfaction and then “harmony,” and does not advocate competition and physical confrontation. The Western sports culture is characterized by “competition” and pursues the spirit of transcendence to itself and nature. In the process of the formation of Chinese traditional culture, the sports culture contained in it has been suppressed. The formation of the social atmosphere of “emphasizing literature and light martial arts,” the decline of the group of “chivalrous men,” the criticism of traditional martial arts in the May Fourth New Culture Movement, and the contemporary sports system of China all, to a certain extent, restrained the healthy development of sports culture. How to further improve, cultivate and disseminate sports culture is a problem that Chinese sports scholars and governors should address.

Abstract:Since they have different ways of developing and transferring and respective features,Chinese and western sports culture show their differences in property,which embody in different value orientation.Moral concepts of Chinese sports culture which feature with benevolence,righteousness,courtesy,wisdom and faith and those of western sports culture which feature with bravery,competition,equality,temperance and cautiousness are the alternative tendency of Chinese and western sports culture,which also determines the existing way of Chinese and western sports.By anglicizing core concepts of Chinese and western sports culture-altruism and egoism,educating models-sheepeducating model and wolfeducating model,and competitive concepts-Don't pierce through the leather while shooting and self-recognition,this paper reveals some material differences between Chinese and western sports culture from several angles and answers some questions like why Chinese ancient sports could not produce competitive sport and Competitive Sport could appear in western countries.

Abstract:National tradition sport in an important part of Chinese traditional culture, while the traditional sport has to face up the olss and it is on the dangerous verge of extinction because of the attack of globalization of sports, which is represented by the Olympic movements. School sports are important ways of disseminating sports and culture. Introducing traditional sports to school physical education can1 on the one hand, promote the development of school sports and enrich teaching resources of school physical education. Abstract:In view of the controversy between traditional wushu and modern competition wushu,we advance that each of them has its advantages.Firstly,u-tilizing the theory of the principal contradiction in dialectical materialism,we demonstrate that the main difference between traditional wushu and modern competition wushu lies in their characters and functions,based on which,each of them is defined.Secondly,by objectively comparing and analyzing,we point out that each of them has its advantages and defects.Thirdly,a suggestion is given that each of them should not be neglected in wushu' s develop-ment.Only in this way can we make wushu a better development in the future.

Abstract:With the purpose of exploring the development trend of Wushu, an analysis on status quo of Wushu was discussed, including its failure of being formal Olympic events, unfull development in Physical education field, lack of heirs in mass sports and unbalance between the Chinese competitive Wushu and Chinese traditonal Wushu. Comparing the development status quo of Wushu, Janpanese Judo and Korean Taekwondo in different fields such as competitive sports, school sports and mass sports, it is discovered that present studies about Wushu, Judo and Taekwondo were mostly analyzed in superficial phenomenon. However, rare researches were about the social reasons for the weakness of development in Wushu culture by the angle of sociology. This paper, utilizing methods of the sociology, found out that there were several factors about the successful prevalence and development of Taekwondo and Judo, and emphasized the reasons of the weakness of development in Wushu culture. As a result, several developing strategies were approved in order to meet modern people's needs of sports culture and protect the Wushu's spirit.

Abstract:The authors compared the similarities and differences between the early Chinese and Grecian drama,revealed the mutual compatibility of composition between Grecian sport and Chinese “gallantry”,“martial act” and drama,probed in depth into the sports characteristics in early Chinese drama,and concluded that the early Chinese sports oil characteristics not only existed in military activities such as “gallantry” and “martial act” but were more often presented in early dramatic activities.

Abstract:The article searches and analyzes the literature, including monographs and textbooks, on the study of the history of sports in China over the past 30 years. The research results show that the research of sports history has experienced intermittent. The three stages of silent period, tortuous rise period and transitional decline period are closely related to the development of China's sports industry and historical theories and methods. The authors hope that future research in the history of sports will focus on theoretical and methodological innovations in the history of sports, the search and analysis of new materials on the history of sports, filling in gaps and in-depth study of the existing history of sports.
