Abstract:During sheet metal incremental forming process,the deformation and strain were analyzed based on the principles and methods of digital incremental forming process under the without support condition.By comparing thickness variation and oblique angle of forming restriction,and analyzing the shape errors of the forming process in order to put forward the corresponding solutions,experimental data analysis and theoretical calculation results indicate that the production cycle of without support process is significantly lower than that of traditional production processes under low-volume production conditions,and then has the merits such as adoption of universal machine tool,without excess special fixtures,low production cost and forming short period.
