Abstract:Objective To study the effects on prevention of postpartum hemorrhage of caesarean section by application of Hemabate combined with 10% of Calcium Gluconate and Oxytocin.Methods Totally 394 cases of caesarean section were selected and randomly divided into Oxytocin group with 110 cases,Misoprostol group with 138 cases and Hemabate combined 10% Calcium gluconate and Oxytocin group(short for combination group)with 146 cases.The mean operative blood loss and amount of bleeding between 2 hours and 24 hours after delivery in three groups were measured respectively and compared.Results The mean operative blood loss in Oxytocin group and Misoprostol group and combination group were (312.52±50.24) ml,(270.38±72.15) ml,(220.46±45.52) ml respectively.The amount of the mean operative blood loss of combination group was significantly lower than those of Oxytocin group(P<0.05) and Misoprostol group (P<0.05).The amount of bleeding of 2 hours after delivery in Oxytocin group,Misoprostol group and combination group were (183.36±47.53) ml,(157.24±60.43) ml,(103.35±72.54) ml respectively.The amount of bleeding of combination group was significantly lower than those of Oxytocin group(P<0.05) and Misoprostol group(P<0.05).The amount of bleeding between 2 hours and 24 hours after delivery in Oxytocin group,Misoprostol group and combination group were (96.21±45.53) ml,(75.68±60.43) ml,(68.57±72.58) ml.The amount of bleeding of combination group was significantly lower than those of Oxytocin group (P<0.05) and Misoprostol group (P<0.05).Conclusion Hemabate combined with 10% of Calcium Gluconate injection and Oxytocin was proved to be efficient in reducing the amount of intra-operative and post-operative hemorrhage that the operation of medicine was easy,safe and effective.
