RESEARCH ON INFORMATIONAL CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUE FOR DEEP PIT IN COASTAL SOFT SOIL AREA

Abstract:In a foundation pit project in Ningbo which is a typical soft soil district,back analysis was used to calculate the mechanical parameters of the soil on the base of measured pit derormation and optimum method.And the parameters were then applied to predict the deformation of the retaining structure in the next excavation work.Taking one supporting pile as research object,a nonlinear FEM model of retaining structure was set up based on the appropriate material constitutive equation,failure criterion and crack model.The site-measured data were used to the back calculation of the retaining structure stress in the excavation,providing a theoretical base for the safety evaluation.
