Qualitative Analysis of Solutions of Predator-Prey Model with Functional Responses

Abstract:The property of solutions of predator-prey model with Holling Ⅲ type functional responses and the second boundary condition is discussed by use of maximum principle,Harnack inequality,spectral analysis of operators and Leray-Schauder degree theory.Firstly,the stability of non-negative constant solutions is showed.Secondly,some prior-estimates of the positive steady-states are obtained.Finally,the sufficient conditions of non-existence and the global existence of non-constant positive solution are proved.The conclusion show that two species can coexistence for a long time when the parameters of this model satisfy some conditions.
