Effect of pp242 inhibiting proliferation and invasion of human bladder carcinoma cell line T24 in vitro

Abstract:Objective To investigate the inhibiting effects of pp242 on proliferation and invasion of human bladder cancer cell T24.Methods Tumor cells were maintained in RPMI-1640 containing 10% fetal bovine serum,and penicillin/streptomycin.Cells were grown at 37 ℃ in a 5% CO2 incubator.T24 cells of logarithmic growth phase were treated with 50,100,200,500 nM concentrations of pp242 solution;cells in control group were without treatment.The tumor cell growth repression rate was measured by CCK-8 colorimetry.The invasion of T24 cells and the control cells were measured by transwell chamber assay.Results pp242 inhibited proliferation of T24 tumor cells in concentration-dependent manners.pp242 inhibited the invasiveness of T24 cells in transwell chamber assay.Conclusion pp242 inhibits growth and invasiveness of bladder carcinoma cells,and it might be a new drug to treat bladder cancer.
