Abstract:Ninety-six pigs（Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire） were randomly divided into four groups,each of which was replicated three times with eight pigs.The groups received the same basal diet supplemented with 0,0.5%MNC,10 mg/kg Pb and 10 mg/kg Pb＋0.5%MNC,respectively.Results showed Pb increased lipid peroxides level,thymus and spleen index,reduced ConA stimulation index of lymphocyte,IgG and IgM in serum and liver,along with a concomitant decrease in the activities of superoxide dismutase,catalase and glutathione peroxidase in liver,but in reverse while MNC was added into the diet.Moreover,the activities of hepatic MT,K＋,Na＋-ATPase and Ca2＋,Mg2＋-ATPase were also significantly reduced when fed diets supplemented with MNC.These results indicated that MNC is possible to improve the immunity and antioxidant capacity of pigs as a potential sorbent in Pb-contaminated feed.
