Abstract:Based on a comparison of the education system and education philosophy in schools of electronic information in German and Chinese universities of science and engineering,the essay analyzes the difference of present education system in evaluation system,management system,practice and application.By making full use of the successful teaching experience in Germany,the present author puts forward some suggestions on teaching system,philosophy and other aspects,shedding light on domestic educational reform of the specialty,and a new educational system which takes students as the main body.

Abstract:The thesis starts with the background of computing education in today's K-12 education development, and then compares Chinese and American computer science K12 education based on frameworks and curriculum standards. The authors compared the framework design of computer science K-12 education in two countries from the perspectives of concept definition, structure, content, etc. To compare the curriculum design standards, the authors selected from the content, curriculum structure, curriculum implementation, curriculum teaching evaluation of curriculum and in-depth analysis and discussion were conducted from this perspective. The thesis summarizes the enlightenment of current Chinese education researchers on American K-12 computing education to Chinese education, and puts forward the author's own views.

Abstract:Education is a significant contributor towards shaping the future of our society. However, education systems and academic values in distinct countries such as the United States and China may vary and therefore have different impacts on students living in different parts of the world. This influenced this study in terms of student perspectives on various aspects of their educational experience, which includes academic load at school, tutoring, extracurriculars, and preparedness for future success in college or careers. The results show that overall, middle school and high school students in China have a higher academic load because they have more classes and spend more time at school, doing homework/studying, or receiving tutoring. However, student perspectives on the importance of grades vs. personal qualities are fairly similar between American and Chinese students, with less value on grades and standardized test scores towards future academic success. Because China has a traditionally stricter stance on academic rigor and standardized testing, this insight represents a potential shift in mindset towards education in the modern day. Future research can seek to confirm this in other regions and countries to seek a more accurate and cohesive overview of student perspectives on education.

Abstract:With the competition of various countries in the world in education, to further consolidate and improve national education, China and the United States are major countries with greater influence in the world, and both countries attach great importance to student education. Due to the differences in political and economic systems and ideological and cultural aspects, there are differences in the content, path and method of education between the two countries. This paper analyzes the different educational styles of China and America. In this paper, the Chinese and American classroom forms, assessment methods and the impact of different education methods on students are mentioned respectively, and finally some suggestions are given. Educational administrators should combine the excellent educational methods of the United States from various aspects to improve education, and to improve the competitiveness of education in the world, and people should also know the shortcomings of education in other countries to cope with the future development of education in country.

Abstract:The quality of education is the lifeline of higher education, so higher education evaluation is increasingly being valued by the government and all sectors of society. In the past 20 years, China's higher education evaluation has achieved some obvious achievements, and the theory and method system of higher education evaluation is basically established. However, as China's higher education evaluation started late, the construction of the higher education evaluation system is still in the exploratory stage. In contrast, the evaluation of higher education in America has a long history, has accumulated rich experience, complete evaluation plan, clear evaluation procedures and cycles, and the system has developed relatively well. Therefore, to learn from the practical experience of the American higher education evaluation system, this paper analyses the differences of higher education evaluation system between China and America, and then obtain enlightenment for higher education evaluation work and teaching reform.

A Comparative Study on the Curriculum System of Doctorate for Sports betweer China and the united States

Abstract:Document retrieval, questionnaire and interview were applied to analyze and compare the current status of curriculum system of doctorate for sports between China and the United States. A reform strategy was provided. Compared with that in USA, the curriculum system of doctorate in China show less credit points and course hours, too large the proportion of the required course to the selected course, less subjects and simpler teaching methods, and curriculum chiefly arranged within the university. The above factors restrained students' integrated quality and limited cultivation of high level sports personnel in China. The following reform strategies were put forward: properly increasing the credit points and course hours; changing the curriculum from sports subjects to sports science subjects and setting up more cross discipline subjects; adjusting the proportion of the required course to the selected course from appropriately 9:1 to 2:1; reinforcing the building of teaching materials; using different kinds of ways for teaching such as forum, seminar and literature reading; and advocating students to select subjects other than the setting up subjects and schools.

Abstract:For Chinese universities, American education patterns have been models to learn from. This research conducted a comparison of five Chinese undergraduates’ experiences in two different universities, University of California at Berkeley (UCB) in U.S. and Beijing International Studies University (BISU) in China. By using the qualitative method, semi-interviews, the research made efforts to find the differences of classroom models between UCB and BISU based on participants’ narrations about their feelings, opinions and reflections. The differences include five aspects: learning resources, classroom atmosphere, teaching methods, learning strategies and following up after class. Most participants prefer teaching patterns in UCB because they feel more independent, free and lively in UCB. This research can provide a micro view of comparison and reference for the reform of undergraduate education in Chinese universities.

Abstract:Some accomplishments have been obtained since cultural quality education curriculum was implemented in our country,but with the practice of general education curriculum in some colleges and universities,the relationship between cultural quality education curriculum and general education curriculum is concerned increasingly.Through the comparison of the general education curriculum of American colleges and universities with the cultural quality education curriculum of China's colleges and universities from the aspects of connotation,generation and development,and the method of practice,etc.We can find that there are some problems of the cultural quality education curriculum in some aspects of developing concept and process of curriculum,the mode of major and compulsory courses,the choice of curriculum content,and the burden of curriculum given to students,etc.This article proposes some suggestions by learning American successful experience.

Abstract:According to the existing literature, the analysis of the teaching content, teaching method and assessment model in China and the United States has the same trend: Scholars generally believe that compared with the English language teaching system in China, the methods of English language education in the United States are more diverse, the educational goals are more realistic to life, and the evaluation criteria are more comprehensive. The factors cause this difference is worth investigating. This paper evaluates the applicability of these views in today's world through a questionnaire survey. Specifically, this paper attempts to assess whether the similarities and differences that scholars have found between the English language teaching systems in China and the United States still exist today or whether the development trends between the English language teaching systems of the two countries are trending in the same direction today. The study surveyed Chinese students in the U.S. - a target group with dual English learning experiences in China and the U.S. The results of the paper show that the effectiveness and applicability of the English teaching systems of the two countries need to be discussed in the cultural environment of the two countries, and there is no one-sided argument that either system is better.

Abstract:In the new round of college entrance examination English reform, the design and development of high school English elective courses has become a trend in basic education in the new era. The updating of teaching objectives, the formulation of teaching plans, the creation of teaching atmosphere, and the diversification of teaching evaluation have all become the important factors for the effective teaching of high school English elective courses. Based on the reform of the new college entrance examination, this paper analyzes the current status and problems of the opening of high school English elective courses in China, and points out that it is necessary to design and develop high school English elective courses around the new teaching objectives to meet the different needs of English learning, stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, and promote the continuous improvement of students' comprehensive English ability.

Abstract:This study presents comparisons regarding current elementary foreign language programs in China and the USA. The design features a comparative analysis approach combined with deductive thematic analysis to collect, analyze, and compare relevant data. Data were collected from samples such as governmental documents, organizational guidelines, national statistical reports, published scholarly works, audiovisual materials, and textbooks. Preceding the research, primary categories were identified, used to group data, and then look for similarities and differences. Categories for comparison were: (a) program types, (b) curriculum standards, (c) instructional methods, and (d) assessments. Results indicated US programs could benefit from consistency, widespread support and demand, state-to-state organization and/or alignment, equitable teaching materials, and attention to all student populations. China’s program, while organized, could benefit from more authentic, real-life-context, other-culture-oriented practices, flexibility, and deeper, genuine information about English-speaking countries’ cultures. This research contributes to scholarly conversations regarding comparisons of elementary foreign language teaching in China and the USA, while also supporting worldwide comparisons and exchange of ideas.

Abstract:The issue of educational equity is a hot topic of concern to the whole society. Some researchers have found that there is a lack of educational opportunities for ethnic minority groups in China and the United States, but there is still a lack of unified explanation for the causes, current situation, and the advantages and disadvantages of solutions to the problem of educational equity for ethnic minorities in both countries. Therefore, this article conducts research on the education situation of ethnic minorities in both countries by collecting relevant data and summarizing and analyzing the data. Research has found significant differences in the causes and current situation of ethnic minority education issues between China and the United States, and there is also room for improvement in existing solutions. Therefore, China and the United States need to develop precise measures that are suitable for their own specific situations based on their respective special circumstances to address the issue of educational equity faced by ethnic minorities.
