Abstract:Objective To study the antiaging mechanism of Polygala tenuifolia Wild.Methods The Aging mice induced by D-galactose were filled with the extracts of Polygala tenuifolia Wild.of different doses for 4 weeks.The activity of serum SOD and hepatocellular GSH-PX of mice were observed.Results The extracts could obviously enhance the activity of SOD in serum and hepatocellular GSH-PX and reduce the MDA level.Conclusion The extracts of Polygala tenuifolia Wild.have antiaging action by scavenging unnecessary free radical and relieving the oxidative damage.
