Abstract:In the first 10 years of the Nanjing Government Era,Tinghua rised and became a prestigious university in the world.Originally,this achievement was gained under the leadership of President Luo jialun.And yet the most significant benefactor is President Mei Yiqi.Mei Yiqi perfected the institutional system of govern universities by professor,polished up the academic atmosphere,strengthened the research-teaching group,augmented the disciplines,energized the international academic exchanges,Sum up,Mei Yiqi,a creative educator,compromising the social needs of China and the trends of the frontier academic development,establishde a high-quantity universty according educational law.Consequently,Tsinghua turned into the first research-oriented comprehensive university in China,which has a vigorous technology school and extraordinary basic studies departments,thus it edged itself into the top universitities in the Far East,which was unrivalled in China and could paralled with the worldclass institute in the West.Naturally,such a university and its alumni made various contributions to the national rejuvenation of China.
