Application of Equal Energy Loss Analysis in Energy Analysis of a Natural Gas Purification Plant

Abstract:A new method which had considered the effect of equal energy loss was used to determine the temperature difference contribution values of heat transfer streams.Using the total annual cost as a objective function,the energies of the purification equip-ment of a natural gas processing plant were analyzed with the new method in comparison with the traditional method.The results showed that the total annual cost calculated by the new method decreased by 23.31%,which had a much better result in the energy saving.
