Abstract:We report on a generalization of quantum matrices A(R) and braided matrices B(R) relevant to a paired invertible solutions (R, P) of the Quantum Yang-Baxter Equations. The constructed objects A(R, F) turn out to be braided in the general cases and to be quantum in the classical case.

Abstract:Abstract This work is a development of braids, tensor categories and Yang–Baxter operators. According to Li [Li, F. (1998). Weak Hopf algebras and some new solution of quantum Yang-Baxter equation. J. Algebra 208:72–100; Li, F. (2000). Solutions of Yang-Baxter equation in endomorphism semigroup and quasi-(co)braided almost bialgebras. Comm. Algebra 28(5):2253–2270], it can be seen as a continuation of studying (not necessarily invertible) solutions of the (quantum) Yang–Baxter equation. We firstly introduce the right braid monoids and discuss their properties. Then, we define pre-tensor categories, pre-tensor functors and quasi-braided pre-tensor categories, and investiage their characterizations. Three examples are given from respectively a weak Hopf algebra, a crossed S-set of a Clifford monoid and the (strict) right braid category. Two universalities of the (strict) right braid category are gotten in order to characterize a category of general Yang–Baxter operators and a quasi-braided pre-tensor category. In a pre-tensor category we build a general centre of a pre-tensor category as a generalization of a centre and show that it is a quasi-braided pre-tensor category. At the end, a categorical interpretation of the quantum quasi-double of a weak Hapf algebra is obtained under a certain condition.

Abstract:Braided differential operators ∂i are obtained by differentiating the addition law on the braided covector spaces introduced previously (such as the braided addition law on the quantum plane). These are affiliated to a Yang–Baxter matrix R. The quantum eigenfunctions expR(x‖v) of the ∂i (braided-plane waves) are introduced in the free case where the position components xi are totally noncommuting. A braided R-binomial theorem and a braided Taylor theorem expR(a‖∂)f(x)=f(a+x) are proven. These various results precisely generalize to a generic R-matrix (and hence to n dimensions) the well-known properties of the usual one-dimensional q-differential and q-exponential. As a related application, it is shown that the q-Heisenberg algebra px−qxp=1 is a braided semidirect product C[x]×C[ p] of the braided line acting on itself (a braided Weyl algebra) and similarly for its generalization to an arbitrary R- matrix.

Abstract:Quantum monodromy matrices coming from a theory of two coupled (m)KdV equations are modified in order to satisfy the usual Yang-Baxter relation. As a consequence, a general connection between braided and unbraided (usual) Yang-Baxter algebras is derived and also analysed.

Abstract:We construct finite $R$-matrices for the first fundamental representation $V$ of two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}(\mathfrak{g})$ for classical $\mathfrak{g}$, both through the decomposition of $V\otimes V$ into irreducibles $U_{r,s}(\mathfrak{g})$-submodules as well as by evaluating the universal $R$-matrix. The latter is crucially based on the construction of dual PBW-type bases of $U^{\pm}_{r,s}(\mathfrak{g})$ consisting of the ordered products of quantum root vectors defined via $(r,s)$-bracketings and combinatorics of standard Lyndon words. We further derive explicit formulas for affine $R$-matrices, both through the Yang-Baxterization technique of [<a class="link-external link-http" href="http://M.Ge" rel="external noopener nofollow">this http URL</a>, Y.Wu, K.Xue, "Explicit trigonometric Yang-Baxterization", Internat. J. Modern Phys. A 6 (1991), no.21, 3735-3779] and as the unique intertwiner between the tensor product of $V(u)$ and $V(v)$, viewed as modules over two-parameter quantum affine algebras $U_{r,s}(\widehat{\mathfrak{g}})$ for classical $\mathfrak{g}$. Solutions of Yang-Baxter Equation in an Endomorphism Semigroup and Quasi-(Co)braided Almost Bialgebras∗

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to study the solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation in the endomorphism semigroup of the tensor product of a vector space. As preparation, we introduce the concepts of quasi-braided almost bialgebra (see also [10]) and quasi-cobraided almost bialgebra, and discuss some of their properties. In particular, it is shown that the quasi-R-matrix R of every quasi-braided almost weak Hopf algebra is regular under von Neumann's meaning. The solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation in the endomorphism semigroups are constructed respectively from every quasi-braided almost bialgebra and every quasi-cobraided almost bialgebra. As examples, we explain how to build solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation from some weak Hopf algebras and all Clifford monoids. Finally, the FRT construction is given so-as to build every solution of the Yang-Baxter equation from a quasi-cobraided bialgebra.
An intrinsic approach to relative braid group symmetries on $\imath$quantum groups

Abstract:We initiate a general approach to the relative braid group symmetries on (universal) $\imath$quantum groups, arising from quantum symmetric pairs of arbitrary finite types, and their modules. Our approach is built on new intertwining properties of quasi $K$-matrices which we develop and braid group symmetries on (Drinfeld double) quantum groups. Explicit formulas for these new symmetries on $\imath$quantum groups are obtained. We establish a number of fundamental properties for these symmetries on $\imath$quantum groups, strikingly parallel to their well-known quantum group counterparts. We apply these symmetries to fully establish rank one factorizations of quasi $K$-matrices, and this factorization property in turn helps to show that the new symmetries satisfy relative braid relations. As a consequence, conjectures of Kolb-Pellegrini and Dobson-Kolb are settled affirmatively. Finally, the above approach allows us to construct compatible relative braid group actions on modules over quantum groups for the first time.

Abstract:We introduce the notion of deformed quantum vertex algebra module associated with a braiding map. We construct two families of braiding maps over the Etingof-Kazhdan quantum vertex algebras associated with the rational $R$-matrices of classical types. We investigate their properties and demonstrate the applications of the corresponding deformed modules to the (generalized) Yangians and reflection algebras.

Abstract:Under a weight conservation condition when q is not a root of unity, Yang-Baxter relations are solved without the assumption that the upper-left triangle of each sub-block of the S matrix of the braid group representation (BGR) vanishes. A general form of BGR associated with B(n), C(n) and D(n) is obtained and shown to construct link invariants. The many-to-one correspondence between BGRs and link invariants is given.

Abstract:The exotic quantum double and its universal R-matrix for quantum Yang-Baxter equation are constructed in terms of Drinfeld's quantum double <a class="link-external link-http" href="http://theory.As" rel="external noopener nofollow">this http URL</a> a new quasi-triangular Hopf algebra, it is much different from those standard quantum doubles that are the q-deformations for Lie algebras or Lie superalgebras. By studying its representation theory,many-parameter representations of the exotic quantum double are obtained with an explicit example associated with Lie algebra $A_2$ .The multi-parameter R-matrices for the quantum Yang-Baxter equation can result from the universal R-matrix of this exotic quantum double and these representattions.

A uniform trigonometric R-matrix for the exceptional series

Abstract:We give a uniform trigonometric $R$-matrix for the adjoint representations on the exceptional series. The exceptional series is a finite list of points on a projective line with a simple Lie algebra attached to each point. This list of Lie algebras includes the five exceptional Lie algebras. For $L$ a simple Lie algebra there is a rational $R$-matrix in $\mathrm{End}_L(\otimes^2(L\oplus I))$ which has a quantum deformation to a trigonometric $R$-matrix. We construct a sixteen dimensional algebra, $A^\square(\mathit{2})$, which interpolates the quantum deformations of the algebras $\mathrm{End}_L(\otimes^2(L\oplus I))$ and a 287 dimensional algebra, $A^\square(\mathit{3})$, which interpolates the quantum deformations of the algebras $\mathrm{End}_L(\otimes^3(L\oplus I))$. Then we construct an $R$-matrix in $A^\square(\mathit{2})$ which satisfies the Yang--Baxter equation in $A^\square(\mathit{3})$ and which interpolates the trigonometric $R$-matrices for the points in the exceptional series.

Abstract:Generalization of Hopf algebraslq (2) by weakening the invertibility of the generatorK, i.e., exchanging its invertibilityKK −1=1 to the regularity K$\bar K$K=K is studied. Two weak Hopf algebras are introduced: a weak Hopf algebrawslq (2) and aJ-weak Hopf algebravslq (2) which are investigated in detail. The monoids of group-like elements ofwslq (2) andvslq (2) are regular monoids, which supports the general conjucture on the connection betweek weak Hopf algebras and regular monoids. Abstract:In our preceding papers we started considering the categories of tangles with flat G-connections in their complements, where G is a simple complex algebraic group. The braiding (or the commutativity constraint) in such categories satisfies the holonomy Yang-Baxter equation and it is this property which is essential for our construction of invariants of tangles with flat G-connections in their complements. In this paper, to any pair of irreducible modules over the quantized universal enveloping algebra of gl_2 at a root of unity, we associate a solution of the holonomy Yang-Baxter equation.

Abstract:We construct a new class of quantum vertex algebras associated with the normalized Yang R -matrix. They are obtained as Yangian deformations of certain -commutative quantum vertex algebras, and their -locality takes the form of a single RTT -relation. We establish some preliminary results on their representation theory and then further investigate their braiding map. In particular, we show that its fixed points are closely related with Bethe subalgebras in the Yangian quantization of the Poisson algebra , which were recently introduced by Krylov and Rybnikov. Finally, we extend this construction of commutative families to the case of trigonometric R -matrix of type A .

Novel non-involutive solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation from (skew) braces

Abstract:We produce novel non-involutive solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation coming from (skew) braces. These solutions are generalisations of the known ones coming from braces and skew braces, and surprisingly in the case of braces they are not necessarily involutive. In the case of two-sided (skew) braces one can assign such solutions to every element of the set. Novel bijective maps associated to the inverse solutions are also introduced. Moreover, we show that the recently derived Drinfeld twists of the involutive case are still admissible in the non-involutive frame and we identify the twisted $r$-matrices and twisted coproducts. We observe, as in the involutive case that the underlying quantum algebra is not a quasi-triangular bialgebra, as one would expect, but a quasi-triangular quasi-bialgebra. The same applies to the quantum algebra of the twisted $r$-matrices, contrary to the involutive case.

Abstract:Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra, $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$ its quantum group, and $U_q(\mathfrak{k}) \subset U_q(\mathfrak{g})$ a quantum symmetric pair subalgebra determined by a Lie algebra automorphism $\theta$. We introduce a category $W_\theta$ of weight $U_q(\mathfrak{k})$-modules, which is acted upon by the category of weight $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$-modules via tensor products. We construct a universal tensor K-matrix $\mathbb{K}$ (that is, a solution of a reflection equation) in a completion of $U_q(\mathfrak{k}) \otimes U_q(\mathfrak{g})$. This yields a natural operator on any tensor product $M \otimes V$, where $M\in W_\theta$ and $V\in \mathcal{O}_\theta$, that is $V$ is a $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$-module in category $\mathcal{O}$ satisfying an integrability property determined by $\theta$. $W_\theta$ is equipped with a structure of a bimodule category over $\mathcal{O}_\theta$ and the action of $\mathbb{K}$ is encoded by a new categorical structure, which we call a boundary structure on $W_\theta$. This generalizes a result of Kolb which describes a braided module structure on finite-dimensional $U_q(\mathfrak{k})$-modules when $\mathfrak{g}$ is finite-dimensional. We apply our construction to the case of an affine Lie algebra, where it yields a formal tensor K-matrix valued in the endomorphisms of the tensor product of any module in $W_\theta$ and any finite-dimensional module over the corresponding quantum affine algebra. This formal series is normalized to a trigonometric K-matrix if the factors in the tensor product are both finite-dimensional irreducible modules over the quantum affine algebra.

Quadratic algebras associated to permutation idempotent solutions of the YBE

Abstract:We study the quadratic algebras $A(K,X,r)$ associated to a class of strictly braided but idempotent set-theoretic solutions $(X,r)$ of the Yang-Baxter or braid relations. In the invertible case, these algebras would be analogues of braided-symmetric algebras or `quantum affine spaces' but due to $r$ being idempotent they have very different properties. We show that all $A(K,X,r)$ for $r$ of a certain permutation idempotent type are isomorphic for a given $n=|X|$, leading to canonical algebras $A(K,n)$. We study the properties of these both via Veronese subalgebras and Segre products and in terms of noncommutative differential geometry. We also obtain new results on general PBW algebras which we apply in the permutation idempotent case.

Abstract:The quantum double $D(G)=\Bbb C(G)\rtimes \Bbb C G$ of a finite group plays an important role in the Kitaev model for quantum computing, as well as in associated TQFT's, as a kind of Poincaré group. We interpret the known construction of its irreps, which are quasiparticles for the model, in a geometric manner strictly analogous to the Wigner construction for the usual Poincaré group of $\Bbb R^{1,3}$. Irreps are labelled by pairs $(C, \pi)$, where $C$ is a conjugacy class in the role of a mass-shell, and $\pi$ is a representation of the isotropy group $C_G$ in the role of spin. The geometric picture entails $D^\vee(G)\to \Bbb C(C_G)\blacktriangleright\!\!\!\!< \Bbb C G$ as a quantum homogeneous bundle where the base is $G/C_G$, and $D^\vee(G)\to \Bbb C(G)$ as another homogeneous bundle where the base is the group algebra $\Bbb C G$ as noncommutative spacetime. Analysis of the latter leads to a duality whereby the differential calculus and solutions of the wave equation on $\Bbb C G$ are governed by irreps and conjugacy classes of $G$ respectively, while the same picture on $\Bbb C(G)$ is governed by the reversed data. Quasiparticles as irreps of $D(G)$ also turn out to classify irreducible bicovariant differential structures $\Omega^1_{C, \pi}$ on $D^\vee(G)$ and these in turn correspond to braided-Lie algebras $\mathcal{L}_{C, \pi}$ in the braided category of $G$-crossed modules, which we call `braided racks' and study. We show under mild assumptions that $U(\mathcal{L}_{C,\pi})$ quotients to a braided Hopf algebra $B_{C,\pi}$ related by transmutation to a coquasitriangular Hopf algebra $H_{C,\pi}$.

Abstract:We obtain BGG-type formulas for transfer matrices of irreducible finite-dimensional representations of the classical Lie algebras , whose highest weight is a multiple of a fundamental one and which can be lifted to the representations over the Yangian . These transfer matrices are expressed in terms of transfer matrices of certain infinite-dimensional highest weight representations (such as parabolic Verma modules and their generalizations) in the auxiliary space. We further factorise the corresponding infinite-dimensional transfer matrices into the products of two Baxter Q -operators, arising from our previous study Frassek et al. (Adv. Math. 401:108283, 2022), Frassek and Tsymbaliuk (Commun. Math. Phys. 392:545–619, 2022) of the degenerate Lax matrices. Our approach is crucially based on the new BGG-type resolutions of the finite-dimensional -modules, which naturally arise geometrically as the restricted duals of the Cousin complexes of relative local cohomology groups of ample line bundles on the partial flag variety G / P stratified by -orbits.
