Abstract:Through the post-occupancy evaluation in the neighborhood park of the 1st Cuiyuan Community, Hangzhou City, the type and the feature of soundscape, the users' behavior and its spatial distribution are observed and analyzed. The selection of the soundscape elements, space partition and management of the neighborhood park built up the soundscape design framework. The evaluation results of the amenity scores and the harmony scores show that the cooperation between the sounds and the surroundings should be emphasized. Meanwhile, the space partition of soundscape is also important. These results can provide basic data and analysis methods for neighborhood park design, and the post-occupancy evaluation methods can enrich the traditional soundscape research.
