Abstract:Environmental (Art) Design is one of the most dynamic and studied design disciplines in China, derived and developed from Interior Decoration and Design. "Environmental Design" and "Environmental Art Design", two naming variations for the same discipline, coexist within the Chinese cultural context, in which many Chinese scholars developed their own comprehension of the nature of "Design". Therefore, these two names are often misused in Chinese academia and industry. The broad concept of "Environment" led to an ambiguity in the core, boundary, and scope of the discipline. Within this background, the discipline of Environmental (Art) Design is facing confusion and challenges. Similarly, today's design as a practice and research faces a dramatic change, focusing on "Ways of Thinking and Doing" instead of "Object". In this context, the mission and vision of the discipline of Environmental (Art) Design will opt for change accordingly. This article reviews a recent history of the discipline of Environmental (Art) Design, relevant key educational institutions, and opinions from prominent scholars. Furthermore, in the background of emerging design trends, new collective and constructive ideas and methods for Environment (Art) Design are also proposed. Finally, this paper alludes to the uniqueness and regionality of "Design Culture" in the Chinese context by studying the dispute over the name of China's Environmental (Art) Design.
Exploring Computer Aided Color Design of Architecture Surroundings Based on Tone Harmonizing

Abstract:Based on industrial design theory and modern design methodology, this paper proposes a comprehensive strategy for architecture exterior color design according to the analysis of the current status and trend of existing color design tools. On the basis of three-dimensional color theory, this paper brings forward a scheme for color matching process of hue reconcilement, and develops a hue reconcilement tool based on architecture exterior color design according to the comparison of new and old schemes of configuration.This paper brings "hue reconcilement" theory in color configuration into the process of architecture exterior color design for the first time, and emphasizes the coordinating role of hue in the whole environment. In the process of realizing the hue reconcilement tool, special color selection is finished by constructing a exclusive-used color space. Then designer can modify color parameters according to architecture color card and identify color scheme after incorporating the effect of environmental factors as well as analogy and optimization of choosing and matching colors. This paper uses a research method which combines' analysis, analogy and application of verification; takes into account factors such as color space attribute, color coordination effect, hue type compartmentalization and texture and lighting effect; further optimizes the method for architecture exterior color design; and finally improves the efficiency of design greatly.

Abstract:Although colour science has been widely used in a variety of industries over the years, it has not been fully explored in the field of product design. This paper will initially introduce the three main application fields of colour science: colour specification, colour-difference evaluation and colour appearance modelling. By integrating these advanced colour technologies together with modern colour imaging devices such as display, camera, scanner and printer, some computer systems have been recently developed to assist designers for designing colour palettes through colour selection by means of a number of widely used colour order systems, for creating harmonised colour schemes via a categorical colour system, for generating emotion colours using various colour emotional scales and for facilitating colour naming via a colour-name library. All systems are also capable of providing accurate colour representation on displays and output to different imaging devices such as printers.

Abstract:Color is an important content in the planning and design of landscape architecture.The color composition is the "first source" of visual perception.This paper discusses scientific environmental color survey,research,design and evaluation methods by means of digital technology.It uses color digital collection equipment and the measurement model,takes the color planning and design of the scenic belt with cherry blossomin Nanjingas an example,from color space planning,color sequential organization,interface color design,and has carried on the qualitative and quantitative researchinthe effect of landscape color composition.Through the comparison and calculation of color quantization data,the optimized configuration of color composition of landscapeenvironmental elements is realized,which makes the design of landscape environment color planning more scientific,objective and effective.

Firstly, by reviewing the definition and development of graphic design, the basic concept and classification of graphic design elements are introduced. Then, combined with the characteristics of environmental art, the application of graphic design elements in different environments and scenes is discussed. It includes color application, composition principle, font selection and graphic expression. Finally, the importance of graphic design elements in the teaching of environmental art is summarized, and the prospect of further research is put forward.

Abstract:With the improvement of people's quality of life and the love for various national cultures, the conventional product color design created by industrial designers combining their own knowledge, experience and other individual knowledge is not enough to meet the aesthetic needs of consumers to obtain cultural attributes. Compared with conventional product color design, the effective communication of cultural images is the core of cultural creative product color design. In this paper, for the purpose of expressing multicultural images of color design of cultural creative products, we propose a coupling and correlation analysis method of color beauty and visual beauty, and study the mapping relationship between color beauty and visual beauty on color image based on least square regression analysis. The mapping relationship is used to obtain the key parameters that affect the dynamic changes of color images. Finally, a quantitative model of product color dynamic reconciliation is established, and a product color design and evaluation method based on cultural image constraints is proposed. Based on the above method research, the color design of the ultraviolet lamp is used as an example to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract:Art design combines artistic form and aesthetic feeling with many factors such as society, culture, economy, market, science and technology, and reappears in the design closely related to our life, so that it not only has aesthetic function, but also has use function. By analyzing the present situation of image processing technology, this paper discusses the design and implementation of environmental art design system based on hierarchical structure by solving the key technologies such as image synthesis, image segmentation and file analysis. The object of interest is extracted by threshold segmentation, and the fuzzy connectivity is regarded as the redundant feature of the image, and then the fuzzy C-means clustering method is used to optimize the segmentation result of the previous step and improve the segmentation accuracy in the two-dimensional clustering space composed of redundant features and original image features. The method can effectively reduce the time of image segmentation while maintaining the segmentation accuracy.
