Abstract:CXCR2 is an important member of chemokine receptor family.Recently,more and more studies have revealed that CXCR2 and its major ligands GROα and IL-8,play an important role in the development and advancement of tumor.They not only promote tumorigenesis,but also contribute to tumor growth,infiltration,and metastasis through tumor angiogenesis.CXCR2 and the ligands can be used as tumor markers and independent prognostic factors to predict early diagnosis and prognosis.Moreover,CXCR2 is hopeful to be specific drug target,and to provide a new approach for molecule-targeted therapy.
