The Clinical Value of Dual-Souce Angiography in Diagnosis of Aortic Dissection

Abstract:Objective To explore the value of Dual-source CT angiography(DS-CTA)in diagnosis of aortic dissection.Methods DSCTA study was performed of clinic suspected aortic dissection in 45 patients.The imaging manifestation of 3D-CTA was analyzed,to compare with other imaging examination methods.The volume data was transferred to workstation for image post-processing including MPR,SSD,MIP and VR.And the other Methods was performed of Ultrasonic examination in 36 cases,DSA in 17 cases,MRA in 7 cases.Results The 34 cases aortic dissection were found in 45 patients,The whole aorta and branches were demonstrated well by DSCTA.The true lumen.false lumen,initial flap,location and extend of aortic dissection were showed in all patients satisfactorily.Aortic intramural hematoma of 3 cases,aortic aneurysm 2 cases,pulmonary embolism 2 cases,normal 4 cases.Conclusion DSCTA is accurate,fast method for the aortic examination.And is the principal methods in diagnosis of aortic dissection.
