Abstract:Information retrieve is one of the most important operations in computer information systems. This paper presents a kind of fuzzy information retrieve method based on soft computing (SCFIR for short). SCFIR adopts fuzzy clustering analysis and artificial neural networks to organize databases in systems so as to increase the efficiency of fuzzy retrieve. At the same time, SCFTR realizes the understanding of query sentences in natural language by means of heuristic induct leading mechanism, interactional grammar analysis and semantic analysis. Finally, SCFTR applies several machine learning mechanisms (such as connective learning, evolutive learning, rough sets and so on) in the maintenance of system knowledge base, and thus the effectiveness and feasibility of retrieve systems are improved availably.

Abstract:Genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to modeling fuzzy systems.After analyzing the basic principles of genetic algorithms, modified measures are proposed. The inheritance and aberrance of genetic algorithms in fuzzy systems are emphatically discussed. Thus a method with strong evolving ability to automatically produce fuzzy rules is presented. It is a new way for intelligent systems to acquire fuzzy rules. The experiments show that it is practicable in application.

Abstract:The paper based on researching the insider trading "mice storehouse" problem in the Chinese securities market,attempts to design a system based on genetic algorithm to automatically retrieve abnormal data of insider trading in securities,which can monitor illegal operations of the stock.The system combined the fast searching to exception handling module of the genetic algorithm,tracks and analyzes the real-time maket data of the stock with abnormal fluctuation,so as to find out abnormal data.Through the comparison and the judgment among these abnormal data,the software determines whether the stock have the illegal "mice storehouse" trading,in order to provide basis for the securities regulatory department.

Abstract:In this paper, aimed at emotional interactive needs in music retrieval, a new retrieval method, based on dynamic characteristics of fuzzy psychological and linguistic value computing of music emotion, is putting forward. And an improved interactive genetic algorithm is designed for the emotional retrieval goal. In order to reduce users' fatigue of retrieval process, choice operator for fine breed, crossover operator holding the dominant element of emotion vector, and self-genetic operation strategy are designed.

Abstract:This paper analyzed the key factors of constructing effective query keywords for discrete relational data and advanced a kind of query keywords forming technology named GQFA( Genetic-based Query Forming Algorithm). It learned the optimal at- tribute subset for the target attribute through applying genetic algorithm to the training data set,and then constructed the effective query keywords. Experimental results showed that the query keywords formed by this method can better meet the requirement.

Abstract:Aiming at shortcomings of traditional image retrieval systems, a new image retrieval approach based on color features of image combining intuitive fuzzy theory with genetic algorithm is proposed. Each image is segmented into a constant number of sub-images in vertical direction. Color features are extracted from every sub-image to get chromosome coding. It is considered that fuzzy membership and intuitive fuzzy hesitancy degree of every pixel's color in image are associated to all the color histogram bins. Certain feature, fuzzy feature and intuitive fuzzy feature of colors in an image, are used together to describe the content of image. Efficient combinations of sub-image are selected according to operation of selecting, crossing and variation. Retrieval results are obtained from image matching based on these color feature combinations of sub-images. Tests show that this approach can improve the accuracy of image retrieval in the case of not decreasing the speed of image retrieval. Abstract:Interactive evolutionary computation assisted with surrogate models derived from the user’s interactions is a feasible method for solving personalized search problems. However, in the initial stage, the estimation of the surrogates is very rough due to fewer interactions, which will mislead the search. Social group intelligence can be of great benefit to solve this problem. Besides, the evaluation uncertainty must be carefully treated. Motivated by this, we here propose an interactive genetic algorithm assisted with possibilistic conditional preference models by articulating group intelligence and the preference uncertainty. The valuable social group is determined according to the given keywords and historical searching of the current user. We respectively construct the possibilistic conditional preference models for the social group and the current user to approximate the corresponding uncertain preferences. We further enhance the current user’s preference model by integrating the social one. Thus, the accuracy of the user’s preference model is greatly improved, and the fitness estimation from the preference model is more reliable. The proposed algorithm is applied to the personalized search for books and the advantage in exploration is experimentally demonstrated.
Efficient Information Retrieval using Fuzzy Self Construction Algorithm

Abstract:Different users have different search goals when they submit a query to a search engine. In this paper we aim at discovering the number of diverse user's search goal for giving a query and for each goal a keyword is associated automatically. We initially derive user's search goal for a query by clustering our proposed feedback conclave. Then the feedback conclave is mapped to pseudo-documents so that the user's needs are retrieved efficiently. Finally, these pseudo documents are then clustered to deduce user search goals and depict them with some keywords. Though K means clustering is used in the existing system sometimes queries may not exactly represent user specific information needs. This method only finds whether a pair of query is belonging to the same set of goal and does not look into goal in detail. Hence we put forward a fuzzy similarity-based self-constructing algorithm for feature clustering. Our method works efficiently and will return provide better inferred properties than any other method.

Abstract:In the conceptual design stage of developing new products, the utilisation of the existing designs can significantly reduce design time and cost. This paper proposes a fuzzy intelligent design retrieving system to provide design engineers with easy access to relevant designs and knowledge. It employs fuzzy ARTMAP (FAM) neural network as its key technique to retrieve reference designs based on Customer Requirements (CRs) and Product Specifications (PSs). FAM learns from historical transaction records. For newly emerging CRs, the system is able to retrieve reference designs that have similar PSs. By adjusting a single vigilance parameter, designers can retrieve a proper number of reference designs. Furthermore, it can create new groups of designs when new CRs fail to match any current grouping instances. Our implementation example shows that the proposed system is effective for retrieving designs in the conceptual design stage.

Abstract:With the continuous development of e-commerce, our society has transitioned from a mechanical era to an intelligent era. There have been many things that have subverted people’s traditional concepts, and they have also completely changed the way of life of modern people. Due to the development of e-commerce, people can enjoy the scenery and food from all over the world at home. Online shopping and online ticket purchase have greatly facilitated people’s lives and given people more choices. However, due to the excessive selection of things, there is also a phenomenon of information overload. Sometimes, it is difficult for people to find a product or content that they are very satisfied with. So, how to analyze people’s browsing behavior and predict what kind of content people want and how to push products on major websites have become a major issue facing major online companies. Based on this, this paper proposes an e-commerce intelligent recommendation technology based on the fuzzy rough set and improved cellular algorithm. It provides personalized recommendations for users based on their browsing history and purchase history. The research of this article is mainly divided into four parts. The first part is to analyze the status quo of technical research in this field. By analyzing the shortcomings of the existing technology, the concept of this article is proposed. The second part introduces the classic intelligent recommendation algorithm, including the principle and process of the fuzzy rough set and improved honeycomb algorithm, and analyzes the difference of various recommendation algorithms to illustrate the adaptability of each algorithm in practical applications and their respective advantages and disadvantages. The third part introduces an intelligent recommendation system based on fuzzy clustering, comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of users and commodities, makes full use of users’ evaluation information of commodities, and realizes intelligent recommendation based on content and collaborative filtering. At the end of the article, through comparative analysis experiments, the superiority of the intelligent recommendation system for electronic commerce based on the fuzzy rough set and improved cellular algorithm is further proved, and the accuracy of intelligent recommendation is improved.

Abstract:The crucial technology of information retrieval is to construct a query formulation that can describe user’s real requirement precisely. Personalized information retrieval can resolve this issues to some extent,it realized the differences of users,provides the different service for the different user,satisfies the different need. Embarks from the intelligent search engine personalized information retrieval service angle,conducts the research to the user profile modelling essential technology,expresses the web pages and the user interest profile using vector space model methods,and based on this,according to the log information of the user browsing web pages,through the recessive feedback technology,dynamic adjusts the user profile,makes it more precisely. Experiment indicates this personalized information retrieval algorithm can effectively enhance the accuracy,and has the good adaptation.

Abstract:As the web continues to increase in size, the relative coverage of web search engine is decreasing, and search tools that combine the results of multiple search engines are becoming more valuable. We present a genetic search strategy for a search engine by showing that important relation existed between web statistical studies, search engines and optimization techniques. The user query is used to mathematically define a fitness function of Web pages. The simulated annealing genetic algorithm evolves a population of pages and aims at maximizing this fitness function. We define a creation operator which uses the results given by standard search engine. The crossover and mutation operator consist in exploring links. Experimental results have shown that our method leads to pages of qualities that are significantly better than those of the standard search engines. © 2008 Binary Information Press.

Abstract:With the huge amount of information available online, the World Wide Web is a fertile area for data mining research. In this paper, a new adaptive method of mining web documents is proposed. We give an algorithm which combines genetic algorithm and simulated annealing based on vector space model. This algorithm avoids the disadvantage of web documents by using pure genetic algorithm which can not be utilized accurately .Experimental results indicate that this adaptive method significantly improves the performance in retrieval accuracy.

Abstract:The arm of this work is to provide a formal model and an effective way for information retrieving from a big related data set. Based upon fuzzy logic operation, a fuzzy mathematical model of 0-1 mixture programming is addressed. Meanwhile, a density function indicating the overall possessive status of the effective mined out data is introduced. Then, a soft computing (SC) approach which is a genetic algorithm (GA) embedded fuzzy deduction is presented. During the SC process, fuzzy logic decision is taken into the uses of determining the genes' length, calculating fitness function and choosing feasible solution. Stimulated experiments and comparison tests show that the methods can match the user's most desired information from magnanimity data exactly and efficiently. The approaches can be extended in practical application in solving general web mining problem.
Hi-Gen: Generative Retrieval For Large-Scale Personalized E-commerce Search

Abstract:Leveraging generative retrieval (GR) techniques to enhance search systems is an emerging methodology that has shown promising results in recent years. In GR, a text-to-text model maps string queries directly to relevant document identifiers (docIDs), dramatically simplifying the retrieval process. However, when applying most GR models in large-scale E-commerce for personalized item search, we must face two key problems in encoding and decoding. (1) Existing docID generation methods ignore the encoding of efficiency information, which is critical in E-commerce. (2) The positional information is important in decoding docIDs, while prior studies have not adequately discriminated the significance of positional information or well exploited the inherent interrelation among these positions. To overcome these problems, we introduce an efficient Hierarchical encoding-decoding Generative retrieval method (Hi-Gen) for large-scale personalized E-commerce search systems. Specifically, we first design a representation learning model using metric learning to learn discriminative feature representations of items to capture semantic relevance and efficiency information. Then, we propose a category-guided hierarchical clustering scheme that makes full use of the semantic and efficiency information of items to facilitate docID generation. Finally, we design a position-aware loss to discriminate the importance of positions and mine the inherent interrelation between different tokens at the same position. This loss boosts the performance of the language model used in the decoding stage. Besides, we propose two variants of Hi-Gen (Hi-Gen-I2I and Hi-Gen-Cluster) to support online real-time large-scale recall in the online serving process. Hi-Gen gets 3.30% and 4.62% improvements over SOTA for Recall@1 on the public and industry datasets, respectively.

Abstract:With the development of Internet, electronic commerce develops rapidly and grows strong. Today, it is very important for consumers to buy products by online shopping. Particularly, more and more consumers do shopping by mobile. However, the many researches indicate consumers often access the websites for shopping, and they give up their purchase viewpoint in the end. What factors influence consumer's willingness to buy? To solve the problem, a novel and efficient algorithm is presented in this paper. The algorithm is excellent in modeling dynamic architecture by neural networks. In addition, a data mining algorithm which extracts relational rules from data records is proposed too. Genetic algorithm is used in this mining algorithm. Most of traditionary neural network architectures are arbitrary. Before train of neural network, firstly, the algorithm fixes the number for hidden layer and node. However, in this new algorithm, the numbers are dynamically produced. Moreover, the paper presented a novel genetic algorithm whose computation is simple. The optimal values of chromosome (input attributes), x <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">m</sub> , is found by use of the genetic algorithm. The achieved results confirm the presented algorithms are efficient and novel.

Abstract:An intelligence meta-search engine based on fuzzy integral algorithms was implemented. The search agent was adopted because of the high parallelism and intelligence of the system. The scheduling of search sources was optimized by integrating the decision-tree algorithms and genetic algorithms, and then a new method of fuzzy integral was presented to merge the results. By the experiments on Web and results comparison with other search engines and other meta-searches in the same conditions, the meta-search engine presented in this paper has a better performance.
