Abstract:Objective:To assess the effects of preemptive analgesia with flurbiprofen on the postoperative pain for patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods: Sixty cases scheduled for selective surgery of laparoscopic cholecystectomy randomly divided into groups A.B and C.Before operation the patients in group A received flurbiprofen 50 mg and group B received 50 mg flurbiprofen after operation, while group C received normal saline 20 mL.The effects of analgesia after operation were assessed by visual analogue scale(VAS) at 0.5,1,6,24 hours after operation, and side effects were also assessed. Results: The VAS of group A was lower than those of group B and group C during 24 hours after operation(P0.05),and the side effects such as vomit and nausea were same between group A.Band C(P0.05).Conclusion: Preemptive analgesia with flurbiprofen 50 mg could provide satisfactory painful relief with no obvious side effects during 24 hours after laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
