Abstract:For the course,Process Control Engineering,this paper improves normal teaching objectives and teaching contents,and proposes an optimized teaching system to satisfy the requirement of modern process industries to control engineers.In addition to instruct basic control algorithms and control system analysis,control system designing and implementation are emphasized.Teaching practice in recent years has shown the integrality and effectiveness of the new teaching system,which has an obvious effect on training control engineers with strong innovation ability and engineering application techniques.

Abstract:Process Control Engineering is a very practical course and the main contents are control system analysis,design and application.To stimulate learning enthusiasm of students and deepen their understanding of the contents of teaching,the independent design and integrated simulation teaching method is employed.Several typical process control problems are given,and each student must select one problem and solve it independently.Students need to build models,design and simulate control strategies,and write research reports.Finally,guided by the teacher,the classroom discussion is carried out.This teaching method can greatly upgrade the student's ability in identifying,analyzing and solving problems.

Abstract:Process control system is an important major course for students majoring in automation specialty,and is one of key courses for cultivating practicing and innovative talents.In this paper,the status quo and some problems in the undergraduate teaching of the process control system course were analyzed,the train of thought in the teaching reform of this course was researched.A series of teaching reform measures were proposed,and some problems of the teaching were solved in many ways,such as teaching contents,teaching methods,means of instrument,practical teaching and assessment methods.After years of efforts and exploration,the good teaching effect has been obtained.

Abstract:This paper discuss the teaching of PID control system part for Computer Control Technology course.The characteristics and difficulty of teaching is discussed,and the close connection between the classroom theoretical and experimental practice are investigated.Also some teaching suggestions and methods are proposed.Analysis from three aspects of the PID control algorithm,Matlab verification PID control law and the water level PID control experiment,so the student mastery of knowledge points has been promoted.Meanwhile,the teaching quality of Computer Control Technology course has been improved.

Abstract:Some practical approaches have been presented successfully, which can be applied for control engineering education. Compared with conventional lecturing and laboratory exercising, instructing outcomes can be improved significantly. Two independent sets of instruments from Feedback Instruments Limited are selected to conduct experiments on a basis of the fundamental control theories. In particular, the 33-110 servo system is selected, consisting of three components: mechanical unit, analogue unit and digital unit. The 150 servo system contains a number of major discrete component units. Both systems can be used to test the fundamental control principles, such as the PID control. Matlab is employed for data analyzing, simulation, plotting and programming. Simulink is also employed to implement numerical simulations for advanced control practices. For practical control problems in real time, such as robotic control and engine control, Labview can be applied considering its merits of the graphical user interface design and block diagram approach. Some typical examples to improve classes at the system and control laboratory are presented, using software or hardware instructing tools such as the Matlab, Simulink and Labview.

Abstract:The control course is an important professional course for engineering students. It is also a course with both theory and engineering practice. Only by combining the theory and practice of the control courses, can we cultivate the comprehensive quality talents with engineering consciousness, practical ability and team cooperation required by engineering education. In this paper, we take the course of "Automatic Control Theory" as an example to analyze the existing problems in the control courses, and put forward the theory and practice of the course optimization program, use the program with complex network model for teaching evaluation. The results show that the reform and optimization program is reasonable and feasible, and can achieve good results.

Abstract:This paper develops discussions on the teaching for principle of automatic control course.We mainly consider the teaching of nonlinear system part.The characteristics and difficulty of teaching is discussed and some teaching suggestions and methods are proposed.To show how to improve teaching according to these suggestions and methods,two new teaching examples are demonstrated.The first one is about how to build the connection between describing function method and phase plane method through limit cycle analysis.The second one is about how to enhance the connection between system compensation and phase plane analysis method through introducing PID parameter self-tuning method based on relay.

Abstract:In the teaching process of "electro-mechanical transmission and control", according to the teaching task, the teaching chain starts with the preparation of pre-class reading assigned by teachers, and students' initiative preview, through the theory teaching of classroom, post-class review and consolidation exercises, experiment and practice, by the coordination of all aspects, so as to achieve teaching system's stable running and effective controlling. The study teaching of issue on "electro-mechanical transmission and control" is explored, according to the basic principle of the control system, we proposed the concept of teaching chain based on feedback characteristic, and the feedback mechanism is introduced into the mathematical model of teaching system. The study on delay component in the teaching chain is carried out, and some experiences in teaching are summarized for the research teaching mode of "practice of electro-mechanical transmission and control".
