Abstract:These studies were conducted at Applied Economics Research Centre, University of Karachi, Pakistan during 2007 to explore long-run relationship between output, technological advancement and agricultural terms of trade by utilizing the Nerlovian Supply Response (NSR) model in case of small developing economy, like Pakistan. Stationarity is being checked with application of Ng-Perron unit root test. The long run rapport explains by employing Johansen's (1988) Co-integration approach and Fully Modified Ordinary Least Square (FMOLS) techniques. Data were taken from Pakistan Economic Survey and Agricultural Statistics of Pakistan for the period from 1970-71 to 2005-06. Empirical findings of study exhibit one co-integration vector in output, technological advancement and agricultural terms of trade. So long-run relationship exists among variables under consideration. Price incentives in isolation influence agriculture growth weekly. However, if coupled with greater investment in technology, country could achieve relative much faster growth in agricultural output. JEL Classifications: C29, C32, E10.
