Abstract:This research identified the main traits of F1 and F2 hybrid generation,which were bred from Corchoru capsularis and Corchorus olitorius as parents,including leaf shape,fruit shape,pollen fertility,thousand seed weight,etc.The results indicated that fruit length of the F1 hybrid was significantly shorter than that of the female parent,but fruit width,on the other hand,was significantly larger in the F1 hybrid;the leaf shape showed tendency of maternal inheritance.According to the pollen colonoscopy in F2,the numbers of male sterile plants were screened,in which the fruit widths were significantly smaller than that of the parent plants;the fruit length showed tendency of paternal inheritance,but the fruit shape and thousand seed weight displayed inheritance from both parent plants.
