Research of Chessboard＇s Corner Detection Based on Homography

Abstract:To satisfy the chessboard＇s comer detection in three-dimension vision measurement, a detection algorithm based on homography was presented. First, the comers＇ bounding quadrangle＇s four comers were selected, then all the comers＇ initial coordinates were obtained through homography map. At last, all the comers were located more accurately utilizing interpolated value, Harris operator, Forstner operator and SVD methods. In calibration board comer detection experiment, this method achieved good detection result.
