Abstract:Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare extranodal non-Hodgkin lymphona. Most PCNSL originate from large B-cells. PCNSL can be located deep in the brain parenchyma, around ventricles, or in meninges with sigle or multiple nodes. The standard treatment for PCNSL has not yet been defined. Primary chemotherapy containing high-dose methotrexate (MTX) followed by whole brain radiation therapy (WBRT) is suitable for most individual clinical cases. The optimal dose of radiotherapy and MTX, and the best combination regimen remain unclear. We have treated a young female patient with PCNSL. The patient had received tumor resection at other hospital and six courses chemotherapy with Ara-c and high-dose MTX. Clinical case discussion was arranged and treatment procedure was planned through a group of specialists. The patient was treated with radiotherapy plus adjuvant temozolomide. Now, the patient has completed radiotherapy. Adjuvant temozomide therapy is ongoing .This article discussed this special case with the imaging features and the treatment.
