Abstract:A group G is said to be a T-group (resp. PT-group, PST-group), if normality (resp. permutability, S-permutability) is a transitive relation. In this paper, we get the characterization of finite solvable PST-groups. We also give a new characterization of finite solvable PT-groups.

Abstract:Abstract A finite group G is said to be a PST -group if every subnormal subgroup of G permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G . We shall discuss the normal structure of soluble PST -groups, mainly defining a local version of this concept. A deep study of the local structure turns out to be crucial for obtaining information about the global property. Moreover, a new approach to soluble PT -groups, i.e., soluble groups in which permutability is a transitive relation, follows naturally from our vision of PST -groups. Our techniques and results provide a unified point of view for T -groups, PT -groups, and PST -groups in the soluble universe, showing that the difference between these classes is quite simply their Sylow structure.

Abstract:We prove that $ G $ is a finite $ \sigma $ -soluble group with transitive $ \sigma $ -permutability if and only if the following hold:(i) $ G $ possesses a complete Hall $ \sigma $ -set $ {\mathcal{H}}=\{H_{1},\dots,H_{t}\} $ and a normal subgroup $ N $ with $ \sigma $ -nilpotent quotient $ G/N $ such that $ H_{i}\cap N\leq Z_{\mathfrak{U}}(H_{i}) $ for all $ i $ ; and (ii) every $ \sigma_{i} $ -subgroup of $ G $ is $ \tau_{\sigma} $ -permutable in $ G $ for all $ \sigma_{i}\in\sigma(N) $ .

Abstract:Let G be a group. A subgroup H of G is called permutable if H ⁢ K = K ⁢ H for all subgroups K of G. Permutability is not in general a transitive relation, and G is said to be a PT -group (or to have the PT -property) if, whenever K is a permutable subgroup of G and H is a permutable subgroup of K, H is permutable in G. The aim of this paper is to investigate the behaviour of uncountable soluble groups of cardinality א whose proper subgroups of cardinality א have the PT -property. We prove that such a group is a PT -group and so are all its subgroups.

Abstract:Let G be a finite group. A subgroup A of G is said to be S-permutable in G if A permutes with every Sylow subgroup P of G, that is, . Let be the subgroup of A generated by all S-permutable subgroups of G contained in A and be the intersection of all S-permutable subgroups of G containing A. We prove that if G is a soluble group, then S-permutability is a transitive relation in G if and only if the nilpotent residual of G avoids the pair , that is, for every subnormal subgroup A of G.

Abstract:Let $\sigma =\{\sigma_{i} | i\in I\}$ be some partition of the set of all primes $\Bbb{P}$ and $G$ a finite group. $G$ is said to be $\sigma$-soluble if every chief factor $H/K$ of $G$ is a $\sigma _{i}$-group for some $i=i(H/K)$. A set ${\cal H}$ of subgroups of $G$ is said to be a complete Hall $\sigma $-set of $G$ if every member $\ne 1$ of ${\cal H}$ is a Hall $\sigma _{i}$-subgroup of $G$ for some $\sigma _{i}\in \sigma $ and ${\cal H}$ contains exactly one Hall $\sigma _{i}$-subgroup of $G$ for every $i \in I$ such that $\sigma _{i}\cap \pi (G)\ne \emptyset$. A subgroup $A$ of $G$ is said to be ${\sigma}$-permutable in $G$ if $G$ has a complete Hall $\sigma$-set $\cal H$ such that $AH^{x}=H^{x}A$ for all $x\in G$ and all $H\in \cal H$. We obtain characterizations of finite $\sigma$-soluble groups $G$ in which $\sigma$-permutability is a transitive relation in $G$.

Abstract:Let рЭРЇ be a group. A subgroup рЭРї of рЭРЇ is called permutable if H вБҐ X = X вБҐ H for all subgroups рЭСЛ of рЭРЇ. Permutability is not in general a transitive relation, and рЭРЇ is called a PT -group if, whenever рЭРЊ is a permutable subgroup of рЭРЇ and рЭРї is a permutable subgroup of рЭРЊ, we always have that рЭРї is permutable in рЭРЇ. The property PT is not inherited by subgroups, and рЭРЇ is called a PT ћД -group if all its subgroups have the PT -property. We prove that if рЭРЇ is a soluble group of infinite rank whose proper subgroups of infinite rank have the PT -property, then рЭРЇ is a PT ћД -group.

Abstract:Let H be a subgroup of a group G . The permutizer is the subgroup generated by all cyclic subgroups of G which permute with H . A subgroup H of a group G is strongly permuteral in G if for every subgroup U of G , such that . We investigate groups with -subnormal or strongly permuteral Sylow subgroups. Moreover, we prove that groups with all strongly permuteral primary cyclic subgroups are supersoluble.

Abstract:Let σ = { σ i ∣ i ∈ I } be some partition of the set of all primes and G a finite group. Then G is said to be σ-full if G has a Hall σ i -subgroup for all i ∈ I and σ-primary if G is a σ i -group for some i. In addition, G is σ-soluble if every chief factor of G is σ-primary and σ-nilpotent if G is a direct product of σ-primary groups. We write G N σ for the σ-nilpotent residual of G, which is the intersection of all normal subgroups N of G with σ-nilpotent G / N . A subgroup A of G is said to be σ-permutable in G provided G is σ-full and A permutes with all Hall σ i -subgroups H of G (that is, A ⁢ H = H ⁢ A ) for all i. And A is σ-subnormal in G if there is a subgroup chain A = A 0 ≤ A 1 ≤ ⋯ ≤ A n = G such that either A i − 1 ⁢ ⊴ ⁢ A i or A i / ( A i − 1 ) A i is σ-primary for all i = 1 , ... , n . We prove that if G is a σ-soluble group, then σ-permutability is a transitive relation in G if and only if G N σ ∩ A G = G N σ ∩ A G for every σ-subnormal subgroup A of G.

Abstract:Let σ ={σ _i | i∈ I} be some partition of the set ℙ of all primes and G a finite group. A set ℋ of subgroups of G is said to be a complete Hall σ -set of G if every member 1 of ℋ is a Hall σ _i -subgroup of G for some i∈ I and ℋ contains exactly one Hall σ _i -subgroup of G for every i such that σ _i∩π (G)∅ . A subgroup A of G is said to be ℋ -permutable if A permutes with all members of the complete Hall σ -set ℋ of G . In this paper, we study the structure of G under the assuming that some subgroups of G are ℋ -permutable.

Abstract:For a permutation group G acting on a finite set Ω and a point α∈Ω, a suborbit Δ(α) is an orbit of the point stabilizer Gα on Ω. The permutation group induced by Gα on Δ(α) is called a subconstituent of G. Moreover, G is said to be uniprimitive if G is primitive but not 2-transitive. In this paper we investigate uniprimitive permutation groups which have a solvable 2-transitive subconstituent. We determine all such groups G which have a simple socle. The affine case, that is G has an elementary abelian socle, are also discussed and an infinite family of affine primitive groups with non-self-paired 2-transitive subconstituents are presented.

Abstract:A subgroup H of a group G is called weakly c -permutable in G if there exists a subgroup T of G such that G = H T and H ∩ T is completely c -permutable in G . In this paper, we obtain some results about the weakly c -permutable subgroups and use them to determine the structures of some groups. In particular, we give some new characterizations of supersolvability and p -nilpotency of a group (and, more general, a group belonging to a given formation of finite groups) by using the weakly c -permutability of some primary subgroups. As application, we generalize a series of known results.

Abstract:Let G be a finite group and {\sigma} = {{\sigma}_i, i \in I} be a partition of the set of all primes \mathbb{P}. A set \mathcal{H} of subgroups of G with 1 \in \mathcal{H} is said to be a complete Hall {\sigma}-set of G if every non-identity member of \mathcal{H} is a Hall {\sigma}_i-subgroup of G. A subgroup H of G is said to be {\sigma}-permutable if G possesses a complete Hall {\sigma}-set \mathcal{H} such that HA^x = A^xH for all A \in \mathcal{H} and all x \in G. We say that a subgroup H of G is weakly {\sigma}-permutable in G if there exists a {\sigma}-subnormal subgroup T of G such that G = HT and H \cap T \leq H_{\sigma}G. where H_{\sigma}G is the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are {\sigma}-permutable in G. By using this new notion, we establish some new criterias for a group G to be a {\sigma}-soluble and supersoluble, and also we give the conditions under which a normal subgroup of G is hypercyclically embedded.

Abstract:Let H and T be subgroups of a finite group G. We say that H is completely c-permutable with T in G if there exists an element x ∈ 〈H,T〉 such that HTx= TxH. In this paper, we use this concept to determine the supersolubility of a group G = AB, where A and B are supersoluble subgroups of G. Some criterions of supersolubility of such groups are obtained and some known results are generalized.

Abstract:We characterize some classes of finite soluble groups. In particular, we prove that: a finite group $G$ is supersoluble if and only if $G$ has a normal subgroup $D$ such that $G/D$ is supersoluble and $D$ avoids every chief factor of $G$ between $V^{G}$ and $V_{G}$ for every maximal subgroup $V$ of the generalized Fitting subgroup $F^{*}(G)$ of $G$; a finite soluble group $G$ is a $PST$-group (that is, Sylow permutability is a transitive relation on $G$) if and only if $G$ has a normal subgroup $D$ such that $G/D$ is nilpotent and $D$ avoids every chief factor of $G$ between $V^{G}$ and $V_{G}$ for every subnormal subgroup $A$ of $G$.
